This is an extremely rough prototype of a deck i'm working on. The idea is to sling curses around, goad opponents, double damage, burn, ramp, and ramp off of burning. Ideally, the deck sits back and provokes opponents into killing each other and helps them kill each other faster.

Edit: I took out a lot of the damage doublers. I felt like the deck needed more cards to push itself along, the doublers and life-halfers aren't bad, but can backfire and draw more aggro than your pillowfort can withstand. I'm tempted to try and integrate some more removal. Not sure yet. Need to get in some playtesting to figure out the idiosyncrasies of the deck since it's so political and NEEDS to be played 4-player.

Would love to hear from anyone that's played xantcha and how they feel about her along with any suggestions and inputs on card selection.

Got a few actual games in with the deck and it was a blast to pilot. Made every game more exciting and interactive for everyone at the table.

However the deck lost every game... lmao. The biggest issue was that it always forced an aggressive game state; making everyone turn things sideways (whether willingly or unwillingly) but didn't necessarily prevent them from turning a good chunk at you. The matchup was ezuri (budget tweaked pre-con), windgrace (un-tweaked pre-con), and teysa, orzhov scion (the real threat at the table).

With that in mind, I tried to work in more "combat control" with things like Maze of Ith and Endbringer, along with more attack deterents with things like No Mercy and Stuffy Doll.
