I’m not sure I agree. Skyshroud Claim brings lands in untapped. I really focused on using ramp with either the least initial cmc investment (like all the 1 cmc dorks), or bringing lands in untapped to reduce that investment. If i have 4 mana open and i play Migration Path my turn is over, not so with skyshroud, same thought process goes with using Rampant Growth , Nature's Lore , or Three Visits instead of Kodama's Reach or Cultivate . They all put one land out but any of the former do it much cheaper, as little as 1 mana after things are said and done, compared to 3 for the latter.
Thanks for the suggestion though, and for checking out the deck.

I think i’d be more inclined to run Search for Tomorrow , or Edge of Autumn if i wanted to drop some of the higher cmc ramp... but I haven’t really felt it necessary. Feels good where it’s at.

Maybe squeeze in Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma ? The ramp affects 18 of your creatures so it would be relevant and giving blanket trample is good for all your beat sticks lacking the keyword.

Osbert I did run Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma for quite a while. The ramp is helpful for sure, but the trample is only during combat, and I don’t often attack unless i’m about to kill a player, and have a Ram Through in hand, or Surestrike Trident out, as a backup kill. I know it’s silly, but it really entertains me to win without combat with this deck.
Anyways, I think i dropped it when I added harmonize and emerald medallion recently. I may work it back in, but not sure what would get cut.

I think what Housegheist is getting at is that you also have the option to draw a card with Migration Path over Skyshroud Claim . Secondly what's the point of targeting specifically forests, you're not running Dryad Arbor . Also you're in mono green what fatty 2 drop are you gonna play after Skyshroud Claim 'ing?
other things to think about:
Nissa, Who Shakes the World - she doubles your mana clear beats out any ramp spell
you're running big creatures, cut Protean Hulk unless you're using him as a combo piece which im not seeing
between all the elves is there a reason you're not running Priest of Titania ?
why don't you run Natural Order , banned in French ehh but not multiplayer
also you should go ahead and pick up the Green Collection, you'll get Worldly Tutor and Sylvan Library those alone are worth it

MLS91 Yeah, I get that it can draw a card, but there are tons of 1 and 2 cmc ramp in the deck that can be dropped after playing Skyshroud Claim and paying the same cmc for tapped mana doesn’t seem worth the ability to cycle it to me.
Used to run Nissa, Who Shakes the World and just cut her because once i’m at 5+ mana I want to be playing big bois, not more ramp. That being said I do run Traverse the Outlands and that is just because it’s pretty easy to just grab ALL of my basics with it... that and it’s a power matters deck and I wanted to put every “equal to the greatest power” kind of card in I could. Either way, she’s always in and out of rotation. I’ll slot her into the maybe board to represent that.
Priest of Titania is great, but both Karametra's Acolyte , and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds get me huge mana more reliably. Don’t really need another big mana dork.
Protean Hulk is basically for grabbing Loaming Shaman to shuffle my graveyard back in. With an instant speed sac outlet ( Momentous Fall , Greater Good , etc.) I can do it whenever I need to keep from decking myself. It can also grab any of the big mana dorks and removal ( Reclamation Sage , Kogla, the Titan Ape ). Last but not least it can grab various win cons (most notably Mossbridge Troll ) while also just being big enough that it doesn’t feel dead outside of those uses.
As for the rest, I have all of those in a competitive green deck I am working on and didn’t want to buy em all again, nor did i want to have too many tutors when I can just draw through my deck instead. That’s way more fun!
Thanks for the ideas! Some are certainly worth it if you want to tune the deck up a bit.

word! you do see though that God-Eternal Rhonas goes infinite with Greater Good for your deck right? so long as you have the mana to cast it again because you have the choice to put him into the deck rather then the command zone

MLS91 As embarrassing as it is to admit this, I only noticed that yesterday. I’ve been playing this for a LONG time. Hahahaha.
That certainly make me want to look at Nissa, Who Shakes the World , Zendikar Resurgent , and the like a bit more since having a combo in the command zone would merit more ways of producing big(ger) mana so I can abuse it.

I run Nissa, Worldwaker in all my green dominate decks. Her +1 to untap 4 forests is insanely good.

Really fun approach and I’m loving all the non-combat tricks! Another tool for your power matters shenanigans might be Primal Bellow ?

I do like Nissa, Worldwaker , as well as Nissa, Who Shakes the World , but every time i run them in this deck they feel... unnecessary? I don’t know. Definitely strong, but I always end up cutting them.
Primal Bellow is cool, but not sure what i would replace for it. I generally only run repeatable or game ending effects that will outright double an already huge creatures power.
Thanks so much OatmealBear and LilMissWiz for checking it out, and for the suggestions!

Switched up a few cards:
Loaming Shaman out for Endurance - easy upgrade
Castle Garenbrig out for Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth - easy swap. Garenbrig didn’t do much in the way of ramp, but, with the next swap, Forborg does a LOT.
Rampant Growth out for Fierce Empath - we have plenty of cheaper ramp and, quite honestly, one day i sacrificed Protean Hulk to chain into empath for Mossbridge Troll and realized I wasn’t even running it. Very embarrassing. Now it will not happen again.
Nissa, Vital Force and Vigor out for Beast Whisperer and Nissa, Who Shakes the World - the land count is low, and more and more of the ramp is creature based. Nissa, vital force wasn’t gonna draw us as many card as beast whisperer, and vigor wasn’t doing much that other cards couldn’t do, so we’re getting bigger ramp with Nissa, who shakes the world.
Lemme know if y’all have any suggestions or ideas with the new changes!

Updated with new combos, and new cards. Let me know what y’all think!

Nice think. Looks like superfun!
the only thing i would suggest swapping is Skyshroud Claim . In your Deck Migration Path is a straight upgrade as it's grants a little more versatility... otherwise i would use the mana-cheaer Kodama's Reach or his brother Cultivate
