---- The Price of Glory ---

The Price of Glory is a Boros-Aggro-EdH deck inspired by Mewgle's "If You Want Peace, Prepare For War." EDH Deck.

History Show

After playing the deck against a variety of opponents this deck feels very smooth and fast. With most of my victories resulting in full swings. Because of the amount of combat control this deck feels perfect. I have yet to experience a set back It hasn't broken out of. The only defeat I was granted was a swift and well paid Debt to the Deathless combined with many pillowfort techniques that deck was none other than The Vampire 911 As obvious as it is, a pillowfort deck will surely hinder the ability of this deck but NOT it's spirit. "A Hero can always break out of a tough spot." - All Might
A lot of the weaknesses of this deck are shown through countered board control. Opponents that can either out pace our board state, control us down to the core, or take away OUR battlefield control. I've seen games where if our enemies have even a slightly weaker boardstate we can take our Victory easily. But in instances where one simply prioritizes a collar and leash around our necks a.k.a. strong control i.e. through pillowfort or some other scenario, and as pathetic as it sounds players of those kind could really take advantage of this and use us to win. Trust me, it's happened. I like this deck a lot and it doesn't play itself. If you want a glorious Victory alongside Iroas, you must fight, you must make sacrifices, you must earn it. Hope you guys enjoy this deck as much as I do, I'm very proud of it and hope to keep improving it.

Updates Add

First annual change of the deck, So I decided to exchange Gideon Jura with Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip Why? Because I have a hypothesis that Gideon, Battle-Forged  Flip will be able to pinpoint weaknesses within those pesky pillowfort decks. Allowing for many opportunities to open up there field, while also not being too overwhelmed in the scenario they have too much for our field to handle. The added ability to untap a creature and make it indestructible is pretty nice too.

Next up is exchanging Gift of Estates with Purphoros, God of the Forge Why? Because he's not only beautiful, but hes a very powerful backup when walls are being an issue. When the pillowfort decks get the upper-hand and all plans seem to fail. All we have to do when Purphoros is out, is do what we love in this deck... BUILD UP OUR LEGIONS! Then BOOM! HAHAHAHA- I mean, so these are my changes... let me know what you think? Thanks.
