The price you pay

Designed to be a mono-black deck featuring creatures and spells that force your opponent to sacrifice off his creatures (getting around indestructible and hexproof targets).

Start with an early Mortician Beetle if you can, and lead into Blood Artist. begin to pick off their creatures with Gatekeeper of Malakir or Fleshbag Marauder.

Mid game, use Geralf's Messenger for more damage and as a potential sac to Disciple of Bolas to top up your hand and get you some life back.

Powerhouse creatures like Phyrexian Obliterator and Desecration Demon are your heavy hitters, but Lashwrithe. will make anything more powerful.

Too many creatures to deal with? Well Mutilate will sort them out, and if Blood Artist is in play then you'll be laughing.

The Sideboard:

Designed to be a battery of useful counters to problems decks.

-Duress Not much you can say about this card, mostly used to kill key cards in peoples hand that they require (it's a budget Thoughtseize).

- Jinxed Idol is in there to use against decks with no creatures

-Surgical Extraction/Extirpate neuters many cards and have great uses.

-Witchbane Orb stops any deck that targets the player, but mostly burn, or mill decks.
