This is an Eldrazi token tribal deck that focuses on making a ton of Eldrazi Scion and Eldrazi Spawn tokens. One of my first decks I've ever made in Magic is my Eldrazi Tremors (Pauper, Modern Legal) Pauper deck, and I liked the concept a lot that it's become an EDH deck!

The deck focuses on playing little Eldrazi that create tokens on ETB like Brood Monitor and Emrakul's Hatcher, and using blink or doublers (Eldrazi Displacer, Conjurer's Closet, Parallel Lives, Panharmonicon) to absolutely flood the board with tokens. These little 0/1s and 1/1s are quite versatile since they can sacrifice themselves to give {C} mana at instant speed, while also being a body to attack or block with. They become a lot scarier once cards like Coat of Arms or Impact Tremors are brought out, pumping their power/toughness to double digits or just straight up killing everyone by making infinite tokens.

The Commander

Previously, I used Golos, Tireless Pilgrim for this deck. With its banning, I've switched to The Prismatic Bridge  , which can find a creature out of the deck every upkeep. This means that by curating our creatures list, we can hit key creatures frequently.

Strategy

We need to hit {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} as soon as possible to bring out The Prismatic Bridge  . Its front face, Esika, God of the Tree  , is never played. To help with this, most of my ramp are artifacts, so they'll work with any land. This deck is particularly vulnerable early/mid-game so it'll be good to try to play draw spells to dig for some protection.

The Prismatic Bridge   should be able to dig out some token producers. Set up combo pieces (doublers, token makers, payoffs), and take advantage of various draw and tutors to find them. Once everything is in place, win off an infinite combo or a big board.

Combos

• Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer : By blinking a a token maker, you can get infinite ETB triggers if doing so produces at least 3 tokens. The tokens can be sacrificed for {C}, which is put back into Eldrazi Displacer to activate its ability again. Getting 4 or more tokens via a doubler Anointed Procession/Parallel Lives/Panharmonicon will produce infinite tokens for infinite colorless mana or bodies on board. Both of these can be tutored by Eye of Ugin.

• Eldrazi Displacer + Emrakul's Hatcher : Same result as above, but keep in mind that Emrakul's Hatcher is unaffected by Eye of Ugin's cost reduction and tutor.

• Brood Monitor + Emiel the Blessed : Emiel the Blessed works as a redundancy to Eldrazi Displacer.

• Parallel Lives + Spawnsire of Ulamog : Spawnsire's activated ability with a token doubler (Parallel Lives) produces four tokens, which can be sacrificed for to pay for another activation of Spawnsire. This results in infinite ETB and death triggers. Having extra token doublers can also result in infinite tokens as well.

Token Payoffs

• Impact Tremors / Purphoros, God of the Forge: Combo win condition. With infinite ETB triggers, it'll do infinite damage to all opponents. Idyllic Tutor, Sterling Grove can grab both. Purphoros, God of the Forge can also be tutored with The World Tree, Eladamri's Call, and The Prismatic Bridge  .

• Bastion of Remembrance: Another combo win condition. Instead of doing damage on ETB, it does damage as a death trigger.

• Coat of Arms / Shared Animosity / Beastmaster Ascension: Combat win condition - pump the tokens and swing for big damage. It's very likely we'll have a good amount of tokens just sitting around, and just couple of them is enough to put pressure or take someone out. Infinite tokens results in overkill which is always fun.

• Fecundity / Skullclamp: Draw a lot of cards by taking advantage of the sacrifice ability on the tokens. With infinite tokens (mana), we can also draw the whole deck to find a win condition.

• Eldrazi Displacer: Because creatures blinked by Eldrazi Displacer come back tapped, we can blink-tap all of our opponents' creatures before combat to take them out or protect ourselves. Be wary of their own ETB effects though (or laugh if they have an ETB that draws them cards).

Exclusions

• The Three Titans: I didn't want to play any of big three since that's sort of the opposite of what I want for this deck.

• Expensive cards: Doubling Season.

• Off-Theme cards: Field of the Dead.

• Just not very good: Blight Herder, Void Attendant, and other Processors. Token spawners that only produce one token.

9/13/2021 - Golos Banning

Golos, Tireless Pilgrim was banned, so the deck was reborn with Esika, God of the Tree   at the helm. With The Prismatic Bridge  , the deck was changed fairly significantly to accommodate for its new commander. I went for a more interaction and enchantment heavy build, and cutting down a lot of creatures to increase the hitrate of The Prismatic Bridge  . The manabase also need to be more spread in order to hit the required colors on curve.

Changed 22 cards. The average CMC also decreased by 0.1, from 3.02 to 2.92.
