Opening hand -Hands with atleast 6 lands/Mana ramp only less if early power is insane regardless, the goal of the deck is Locust so i wouldn't be too concerned with much else Early Game -Goal is to have a fuckload of mana ramp with a little set up with low drop creature and enchantments to make mid game hit harder but it isn't super important -Mana Ramp includes Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Seething Song, Thran Dynamo, Thought Vessel, Temple of the False god -Propaganda out is almost a guaranteed win as you have a small chance of dying before he can come out Mid Game Once you get the Locust God out its time to start getting heavy draw power out, artifact and enchantments set up -Wheeling with Wheel of Fate, Winds of Change, Time Reversal, Magus of the Wheel, Jace's Archivist, Chandra, Flamecaller, Teferi's Puzzle Box, Mindmoil, Arjun, the shifting flame -Getting to late game consist of Mana Echoes for a lot of mana, Coat of Arms for huge bugs, Teferi's Puzzle Box constant draw power, Consecrated Sphinx for insane draw power - With going through your deck to find the late game entering cards, set up other enchantments or artifacts which will make it even worse or winable Late Game - By this point Locust has had too much time to set up and can do disgusting things even with little setup - Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Heavy Draw power while screwing your opponents plays and their control -Enter the Infinite, Have all the options availible making it easy to pull a combo off, while giving yourself tons of locust, be careful recommend Laboratory Maniac out for this, having Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the forge or both out make this an instant win in many cases -Coat of Arms this is a relatively cheap artifact compared to other late game ones but with heavy draw power with it is a game winner when the game goes on too long, paired up with Shared Animostiy and/or Marton Stromgald make your bugs clear the map real quick
