Based on what you said, I could do all this in my current deck. I think, I could take out all Illusory Angel for 2 more lands and 1 Scuttling Doom Engine . But i'm still iffy about all this. Thanks for the input.

By the way, T/O doesn't count the AE as a character, so you can just put therspouts in the square brackets.

UpperDeckerTaco i would play those if i went full out creature based such as Soul of New Phyrexia or something like that. I just have this weird mindset of not playing Chief Engineer at all.

As for bident, i realized hammer is better in my deck as it provides haste for any ensouled cards or a late game topdeck Scuttling Doom Engine . And to start creating golems out of leftover lands.

I would still suggest maybe a sideboard Bident if anything. That card draw is sweet. Also, great combo = Circle of Flame +Polymorphist's Jest +Bident of Thassa .

Bident of Thassa can force your opponents creatures to attack, then play Polymorphist's Jest and let Circle of Flame kill them all. Then your next turn, your opponents will have no blockers, and you say good game to them. All while drawing cards. Also, sidenote, Polymorphist's Jest can give your flying and Scuttling Doom Engine somewhat of an unblockable ability until end of turn. Just some thoughts. If you would like to see my version of this deck, feel free. Han Ensoulo

I really like the way you took your deck idea, but i just played this in FNM today and went 2-2, losing to Boros burn and Boss Sligh. I really liked the feel of my deck. Probably i could add in a few more Scuttling Doom Engine because it did wonders.

You should put your Revokers on the sideboard. Also, if you play the Ornithopter, you should give a try to the Illusory Angel . ;)

Honestly, I don't see any scenario where the Hammer of Purphoros is of any utility -since you already have a lot of nice artifacts. Prophetic Prism is quite useless too, it isn't really a good card. You should replace it by an Izzet Keyrune . That's pretty much everything I have to say, if you want to take a look I just updated my own version of that kind of deck, you can see it here: U/R Artifact, kill turn 4 or 7 ~~ . ;)

Replace the Hoarding Dragon because they are too slow.

Crater's Claws works well with generator servants and is a great later game draw while still being useful early.

Monastery Swiftspear are really good, especially In a deck like yours that will be casting artifacts, enchantments and instants.

My changes would be:

-4x Hoarding Dragon - too slow and too easily exiled or bounced, which makes you lose the artifact

-1x Ugin's Nexus - too much mana and the extra turn doesn't matter much for a burn deck. It requires Shrapnel Blast to be any good.

-3x Magma Jet - good but not nearly as good as Titan's Strength

-3x Island - you don't have many blue cards

-2x Temple of Epiphany - you can make your land faster and you don't need so much of it if you reduce your curve a little by dropping the dragons and nexus

-1x Hammer of Purphoros - doesn't fit with deck, can't hit opponent

-1x Scuttling Doom Engine - 3 gives you too high a chance of drawing 2

+4x Shivan Reef - faster dual lands

+4x Monastery Swiftspear - faster aggro that gets buffed naturally by the cards you want to ply turns 2-6

+2x Crater's Claws - great game ender. 3 or 4 wouldn't be crazy

+4x Titan's Strength - with ornithopters and swiftspears these function as 3 damage to your opponent and a scry for one red. Absolute 4 of. If there's one suggestion of mine you try, make it this...... And the swiftspear

+1x Hammerhand - helps get damage through and creates another obstacle for your opponent that they won't expect.

3 Ghostfire Blade was a very good choice, btw. My friend made a deck like this out of our extensive play testing and I'm telling you all the things that have made his deck difficult to handle. Turn 3 wins aren't entirely uncommon.

Hey thank your for taking the time to write all these suggestions, that really means a lot to me :)

First off:

  1. I think you are right on the Hoarding Dragon , too often have they been exiled by a banishing light, with me feeling very sad, lol

  2. Ugin's Nexus is a fun of for me right now, but if i feel the need to take it out, i will.

  3. I like the idea of Monastery Swiftspear , but right now, since i'm bad at deckbuilding, i want to put in 2-3 of the Jeskai tri-land to splash white for erase/revoke existence in SB and it would not work as well with spear. Or maybe it could, i do not know...

  4. I think Magma Jet are essential to this deck, mostly because of the meta to deal with Rabblemaster and any other early threats.

  5. I will take out the islands ( but probably should update this list because currently i have 10 mts and 6 islands )

  6. The Temples i feel are needed to smooth out my draws and actually have both colors since i am not running fetches to do that work.

  7. I will take out the Hammer of Purphoros sooner or later, once i get all the cards i wanna switch out.

  8. I like 3 engines, even though having 2 in an opening hand is bad, i like 3 to draw one at some point, since i won't be fetching them with dragon anymore.

  9. I opted out on Shivan Reef mostly because of cost and i don't see a time i will play them unless i can magically trade for some.

  10. I might play 1-2 Crater's Claws if i can get them.

  11. The Titan's Strength seem like a great idea, and i will test them out.

  12. I am iffy about the Hammerhand , but i will see.

Thanks again for the suggestions, i will keep looking into swiftspears and titan's strength. Any chance you could look over my sideboard? (And look over the updated Mainboard)
