Personally, I like Herald of Torment over Nightveil because he is 3/3 and late game he can bestow. As far as the devoation creatures.. I don't feel I have enough to run them. Plus they would be better to just run that color than try to splash them here.

Tormented Hero would fit great in here to give you more turn one plays, and Madcap Skills is just great

@Wolfninja This isn't a devotion based deck. Aytonday is trying to have a much more aggressive strategy, and Gray Merchant/Fanatic of Mogis won't have enough of an impact on the board to help. Nightveil specter is useful only in a devotion build.

Fair enough, I just personally prefer Nightveil's exile ability over an extra 1 attack and bestow potential from the Herald, but I see why you'd rather have the Herald over it. And, since all but one of your permanents have black in their mana cost, I think Gray Merchant would work fine.

I would like to know what you guys think of Master of the Feast over Herald of Torment . Is that Card draw for them worth it?

Giving your opponent card advantage is something that i could be really bad for you. I think it is generally safer to run the herald here, especially with the option of bestow.
Also, how does anger of the gods run? It hits your cacklers and spike jesters but I think it could be good ramoval. I think it fits much better in the sideboard though, since it hits your early game hasters.

Reason I put it in main was because my meta at my FNM is heavy aggro decks. I agree with you but I feel like if I SB it then I end up putting it in regardless. I wouldn't use it unless there field just got too big too early and I need to wipe it before I can accurately kill them. And as far as Feast goes. I think turn 3 being able to make them at 5 hp with Demon coming out turn 4 just too strong. Also with me running 3 Rakdos's Returns mainboard I can easily use hand disruption. I think in this case his card, yes a disadvantage doesn't out weigh his ability to perform with Desecration demon. Also he doesn't die from Anger of the Gods which is another benefit. I may end up SB Anger depending on how it runs.

I think so, also you should find room for Mizzium Mortars in the sideboard because this deck is really weak to Blood Baron of Vizkopa and the more answers for that card, the better.

Yeah I agree, Although I've never played a Blood Baron, I run a deck with him and shit he is hard to get rid of. So I'll replace anger with morters. Would you run it MB or SB?

I was looking at yours and I don't understand the use of Chandra?

Digs cards off the top and does minor burn. I use it against control for extra card advantage.

I think this looks solid, could be hard to deal with. I also really like master of feast, sure it gives card advantage but he is a 5/5 flyer for 3...thats pretty huge. Can you guys check out my new standard deck im going to build? I just made it and have been away from standard for a long time...could use some tips.

Def run Master of the Feast over Herald of Torment . With Rakdos's Return , you're going to ping their hand anyway. Plus a 5/5 3 drop is totally worth it.

I would add Nightveil Specter , and then either Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Fanatic of Mogis or both of them.
