Someone must have told you this before me, I guess, but what about Blue Sun's Zenith as a one of? With Grand Architect+Pili-Pala it is a straight-up win. Also, it is a good draw engine and it shuffles it in so you can combo 'em to death later.

+1 Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas- Assists in searching for artifacts, turning non-creature ones into 5/5s, and dishes a devastating bomb.

+1 Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver - Mills opponent via exile, have the ability to cast creatures exiled.

+1 Myosynth Lattice + Memnarch - Turns opponent's permanents into artifacts, can possess them; slows them down and builds your field/Tezzeret bomb.

+1 Copy Artifact/Evil Clone - Copy desired artifact.

+1 Wurmcoil Engine - Good for attack and defence, w/ Lifelink and Deathtouch serving both purposes. - Splits in half when nerfed, giving you more selection.

Solid Scarecrow deck, definitely well run.
