What do you mean archetype? like the enchantment creature?

As in aggro, weenie, midrange, if those re archetypes, I'm not super familiar with the word.

I would say what it is at the moment is fine as is.

I think that with the spells you got, this time of the will be alot better if it will be all white.

The spells you got only work for heroic.In my opinion removel will kill this deck :(

Gods Willing, Ajani's Pesence, Gainsay and Dispel do a fair job of keeping a creature alive and well. White removal is the main problem this deck faces since using God's Willing makes most of the enchantments fall off if you're protecting against White.

I would try Brave the Elements in this deck as you only have 3 creatures in your deck that aren't white, or maybe Mizzium Skin , as it triggers heroic or it can even just save all of you creatures!

I actually like Mizzium Skin over Gods Willing since Mizzium Skin won't cause enchantments to fall off and you already have Aqueous Form to help get past creatures and Ajani's Presence to save them from any combat they may do. Good suggestion @Kiora_Fan-01

Does Ordeal of Thassa make sense to use? Most of the creatures are heroic so they could have 3 counters already. Or is the point to trigger heroic and get the card draw for 2 mana?

What I've had happen a lot is when I'm buffing a Battlewise Hoplite I'll put Ordeal of Thassa on him. I get to scry 1 and then draw 2 for 2 mana or 1 mana if you have Hero of Iroas out. It's mostly there for card draws to help keep your hand full since these are all low drops.

I play U/W Heroic in Standard, 4-2 at FNM twice, okay for a homebrew. I would say Gods Willing over Ajani's Presence . It protects from everything, damage, burn, destroy, etc. The scry is a great bonus, the strive in Ajani won't ever be used as you never really have more than 1-2 creatures on the field.

I also can not stress the awesomeness of Favored Hoplite , the best one drop in standard in my opinion. He can swing on turn 2 with 1-2 enchantments with all damage prevented which is just want we want for a fast aggro deck.

I don't see the point in Meletis Astronomer , you only need 1-2 enchantments to win a game. Hopeful Eidolon I don't like either, does't do enough in my opinion for a fast aggro deck. Nyxborn Shieldmate is lackluster, add another heroic enabler. Would look at 3x Fabled Hero , 4x Favored Hoplite , 1x Hero of Iroas , and another Akroan Skyguard .

This is my opinion and what I run, i use a brutal fast aggro deck abusing the Heroic mechanic. I have done a ton of playtesting and feel my deck and ideas are solid. would look at my deck. Note is a bit more expensive so be careful if you want to keep it cheap.

@NateJH This is a <$20 deck. Fabled Hero s and another Hero of Iroas would put the deck over its budget.

Meletis Astronomer has actually been a strong card when I've played with it, thanks to how many enchantments there are with Nyxborn Shieldmate , Hopeful Eidolon , Aqueous Form , Ethereal Armor , and Ordeal of Thassa you can have some pretty serious enchantment chains happen. That's also what helped me go 3-1 at an FNM with some major chains. Especially after a board clear I put him out with a Hero of Iroas and the next turn put close to 6 enchantments on him and swung for lethal.

If anything I would ditch the Akroan Skyguard because without the flying he's pretty useless and if flying is a huge threat there is always Gift of Orzhova on the sideboard.

Also an important thing to note is that a 1 drop enchantment creature will buff Ethereal Armor because it is still an enchantment. Plus a 1/2 Nyxborn Shieldmate isn't too bad of a 1 drop turn one start and will still help out a few turns later when you put an Ethereal Armor on something else.

Yeah, really just sharing my experience. Its a good budget version though!

I would ditch the Akroan Skyguard for more heroic enablers such Ephara's Enlightenment because it gives your creatures flying it pretty much doubles heroic by putting another +1/+1 counter on it and you can keep casting it with all of your one drops!

I like the idea, but the thing is... It's a 3-drop. I'm kind of only for 1 and 2 so the curve works great.. I will maybeboard it though.

How does it do against removal and control decks?

22 Lands is a enough for a three drop though, trust me it works really well!

@alexutah5 removal and control decks it really comes down to luck with draws. They will usually slow it down but as long as you sub in Gainsay s and/or Dispel s you'll usually do pretty well unless you don't draw anything to stop their counters. Regardless of the start though if they don't end the game fast and you get to 9 or 10 mana and you can get out a Meletis Astronomer you can pull of an amazing chain of enchantments that lets him swing for, in one of my practice games 47 unblockable lifelink. The Mizzium Skin also helps protect against it as well, the main Achilles heel with this deck is Aggro. The only thing to really stop it is Triton Tactics on the sideboard.

Dude i have been playing Casual mostly, just a simple Grave born Deck that my Friends hate, and have been looking for a decent standard deck, this is great +1 for budget and for being effective.

I would put in Aerial Formation instead of Ajani's Presence to make this even quicker.

what about a Twincast to trigger multiple heroics
