Nice, I'm working on a junk midrange build too, check it out right here.
I would opt to cut down Deathrite Shaman , and move him to the SB. He's not dependable for ramp, and his other two abilities are relevant but not enough to be MB'able.
In its place, Fiendslayer Paladin , Scavenging Ooze , Lifebane Zombie , etc. They're all really good beaters for our colors.
Golgari Charm MB is definitely a good idea. It protects against RTR block wraths (Supreme Verdict , Mizzium Mortars ), and we know Theros will be enchantment heavy, so it'll hit something. I'm considering upping the Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Golgari Charm count up, as charm protects BB from red damage-based removal.

Yeah I wish I could find a way to make him ramp more reliably; I was considering Grisly Salvage for that purpose, as well as feeding it and Scavenging Ooze more targets.

I'm not liking Fiendslayer Paladin mainboard for the sole fact that this deck can't make it bigger. With Archangel of Thune , it'd be worth it, but I don't think Thune is a good finisher on its own; I'd rather have a Baron or something. Thune to me is a win-more card right now.

I don't think Grisly Salvage
is the way to go. The only reason it's even playable in this standard is because of rites. You lose too many cards for too little gain.
For ramp there aren't too many options. If you're feeling ballsy you can try out either Elvish Mystic or Into the Wilds (I would actually consider the latter as a 1-2 of), but in my build I just play it safe and run 25 lands, and cheap kill spells to get rid of small trash.
Fiendslayer Paladin is more of a stall until I get bigger guys out, he can handle aggro decks well on his own. Aggro will run red, for Magma Jet , which can't target paladin, and first strike and lifelink are very relevant. As for making him bigger, I'm sure someone somewhere is cooking up a junk midrange lifegain deck, with more blood baron, obzedat, paladin, and scav ooze, so it could be a thing. But I agree though, archangel doesn't benefit enough with our current builds.

So I gave up on Junk, gonna stick with GW, thoughts Krayhaft?

I'm running a similar deck (or at least trying to run it :P) and I'm pumped for Fleecemane Lion. Why don't you run Advent of the Wurm mainboard?
+1
September 7, 2013 9:22 p.m.
Well this is a work in progress. The current list is sort of a GW hexproof, so advent wouldn't hold an aura as well as some other options. I don't think this will be very viable though, so i think the list will change to be a bit more midrange without the ethereals, gladecovers, etc. Maybe selesnya aggro topping off at advent of the wurm :)

haha I've been moving the numbers around, trying to figure out which configuration works best.

Thanks for pointing me here Goody, I'll give it some thought. Definitely keep wraths in mind, especially Anger of the Gods . It's faster then Ratchet Bomb or Supreme Verdict would be against this deck. Losing Rancor will hurt aggro, IDK yet how badly. G/W will definitely be explosive but the question will be consistency.

I just replaced the Elvish Mystic s with Experiment One s, for some reason I had funnel vision with this deck and didn't even realize that the dork was useless. Experiment seems feels like a missing link that I now can't imagine the deck without, and there shouldn't be too many of those left now!

Replacing Witchstalker with Boon Satyr . A much better aggro option, and synergizes rather well with the deck. Bestowing it onto an unblocked Fabled Hero turns 4 damage into 14 damage!

I think my approach to GW would be life gain/counters whereas yours is more tokens/counters. I see GW decks running more like Archangel of Thune and Voracious Wurm . /shrug

I really love this deck, if I was not so committed to mono white I would honestly put this together. I do not have many recomme/ndations except maybe consider fiendslayer but it looks good even without him.

This is the weenie I have been working on if you want any ideas.

Really liking this deck. I've been looking for a good Theros Selesnya deck and I would +1 this again if I could.
September 17, 2013 11:03 a.m.
I'm debating whether or not Unflinching Courage is worth it for this deck. Without Witchstalker or Fiendslayer Paladin , the only hexproof target is a monstrous Fleecemane Lion which can't be done until turn 6. It does synergize very well with Fabled Hero , but it's a liability against any deck with significant removal. Perhaps it belongs in the sideboard?
September 17, 2013 12:10 p.m.
I really like where you are going with this deck. +1 from me.
I would consider Soldier of the Pantheon over Boon Satyr as it will evolve your Experiment One early and the fact that I just love the card lol.
Also, Gift of Immortality on Voice of Resurgence is un real. Voice will keep creating elementals and it doesn't die.
Overall love the deck, I am actually putting one together that is very similar to this.
September 17, 2013 3:57 p.m.
-1 Land, +1 Loxodon Smiter . Guy is just too good and such a huge early body to not have a full playset in my opinion. 22 Lands should be fine if you decide to take out Boon. Just a thought.
September 17, 2013 3:59 p.m.
I like this, man! I think you may want to find room for the fourth smiter, too, though.
In my build (Archangel of Thune | Tempo-Breaker), I'm realizing how open I am to an Anger of the Gods free-for-all. And I think Loxodon Smiter , being as large as it is, helps to avoid this happening. This might be something for you to consider.
September 17, 2013 4:49 p.m.
I am keeping Anger of the Gods in mind, it's about the only reason why I'm not 100% on Boon Satyr .
I don't know how many more 3-drops I can stuff in here though, because I'm already so full of them. I would consider Soldier of the Pantheon if I could target it with Selesnya Charm or Unflinching Courage . I'm tempted to remove Unflinching Courage because I have few hexproof creatures now. I would love to add the fourth Loxodon Smiter , but I'm still not sure if 22 or 23 lands is the better choice.
I could see myself trying 22 lands, 4 smiters, and 3 of something else (probably a creature) instead of the courages. What do you guys think?
September 17, 2013 5:03 p.m.
That doesnt sound horrible. I could totally see that being a thing. Personally, I was never a fan of Boon Satyr . I think there are just too many better 2 and 3-drops at the moment.

Goody, protection only applies to what your opponents do. For example, I can target a Blood Baron of Vizkopa with a Gift of Orzhova , but my opponent cannot use Dreadbore on it. Similarly, Unflinching Courage can target Soldier of the Pantheon .
