I've always enjoyed the lore of M:tG (even before there was anything official). Having gotten to watch it emerge from the game that I love and grow into what it is today gave me a level of understanding that the cards attached to that lore weren't always good cards. Some of them bordered on unplayable. When Sisay, Weatherlight Captain was spoiled, a plan began to form. I set out to build a Weatherlight crew theme deck. That didn't seem to be enough, so I considered what other 5-color options there were. It finally dawned on me: SHRINES! The fact that the Captain can search any & all of them out makes it even better.
