I challenged myself to make commander decks around all ten guilds of Ravnica, exclusively using cards printed in both Ravnica blocks, since I have a special attachment to the plane and the RTR block as my gateways to MTG. Unfortunately, that didn't pan out like I'd wanted due to my inexperience running most of them effectively, but the one that worked great for me was the guild I'd always favored: the Simic Combine.

This is a green/blue commander deck that (with the one exception being the obligatory Sol Ring) uses only cards from Ravnica: City of Guilds, Guildpact, Dissension, Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash, and Dragon's Maze. It's built with heavy support for card drawing and +1/+1 spam, universal enough in its structure that any of the four legendary creatures from the block can function as the commander (though for archive purposes, I've named Experiment Kraj as the commander).

It was a lot of fun building a commander deck around a theme/restriction, and it's a fun deck to play as well, in my experience with it.
