My suggestions for SB:-1 Dark Betrayal -2 Doom Blade -2 Negate
+3 Golgari Charm +2 Pithing Needle
Mainboard I'd scratch 1x Hero's Downfall and 1x Silence the Believers , replace with 1 each Simic Charm and Syncopate .
Lands could also maybe do with some rearranging, 4 Islands seems excessive. Definitely Mutavault , and probably shocklands in Golgari and Simic.

DocMan, thanks much! I'll be playing it competitively tonight for the first time (in its current form anyway). I'll post the results later.
Much I won't be running Mutavault or shocklands as they are both leaving rotation, and I don't see the point in buying cards for a standard deck that are leaving. The Islands will definitely be replaced once an acceptable alternative is available though. I did run Yavimaya Coast when I first got the cards for this deck, but took it out since because it was too much self mutlation while running Mana Confluence and Llanowar Wastes .
I agree, Pithing Needle
needs to be in the side board. I'm not to crazy about Golgari Charm
though, the only ability I see it providing that isn't already available in some aspect in this deck is the regeneration. That's not really a crucial addition to this deck. I can counter board wipes, especially once Supreme Verdict
leaves, and Drown in Sorrow
and all the rest already have me covered removal wise. I suppose the enchantment removal would be nice, but I can counter or Thoughtseize
any non creature enchantments if need be. That being said, I will keep the card in mind after I've had a few chances to test it out.
As for Simic Charm , I'm actually looking to replace it since it's leaving rotation. It's really freaking good, but I only own two and, again, grabbing more seems pointless. Something that can help protect my plainswalkers would be great, but I may just end up throwing a couple more counters in there and calling it good.
Thanks for your input man!

I think you are underestimating just how good Golgari Charm is.
It clears Elspeth soldiers, it kills Courser, it saves your creatures... It does more than you may think at first.

I'm not saying it's a bad card, but it does't really fit this deck as well as Simic Charm . I already have Drown in Sorrow to clear Elspeth, and the charms are leaving rotation anyways so I'm not really interested in picking more up.

I think your problem is that you don't really have any win conditions. Sure your planeswalkers could take a game or two on their own but if they come in contact with any removal you've just lost your game plan.
