As I am usually ballin on a budget when it comes to magic, it can be frustrating at times when your friends (opponents) have cards way better than yours. My commander tap deck sought to address that issue, but as it turns out, good cards can make her useless at times. So in this commander deck I've turned to Child of Alara as my new commander. COA is a nuclear baby that will allow me to continue blowing up the board preventing my opponents from having a commanding board state. Besides, COA I have other options for blowing up the board without destroying my own board state.

1. The whole point of Child of Alara is to continually send her to the graveyard so that the board is wiped. To achieve this, numerous cards are used that allow me to either destroy my own target creature, Angelic Purge, Mind Extraction, Tragic Slip, Sidisi's Faithful. Once in the graveyard, I use recursion via Breath of Life, Cadaver Imp, Gravedigger to bring her back to my hand to repeat the process all over again.

2. When COA is not being used, my second option for the blowing up the board is through old fashion board wipes. Examples include Terminus, Merciless Eviction, Nevinyrral's Disk, Obliterate, Planar Cleansing.

3. My third option for kabooming the board is through Worldslayer. A perfect combo with Worldslayer would include an indestructible creature such as Tajic, Blade of the Legion along with Ethereal Usher to make him unblockable.

To ensure I still have a decent board state after blowing it up, I utilize a lot of creatures with indestructible as well as spells to give my permanents indestructible. Besides that, this deck also utilizes phasing. If creatures and lands are phased out when the board is wiped, they are unaffected by it.
