The Squirrel Army is Coming

Casual Aggro Mono-Green Tribal

AstralManhattan

Maybeboard

Enchantment (2)

There is nothing like watching the look on your opponents faces as their carefully constructed, expensive decks become demolished by the power of the Squirrel. For therebut is no mightier opponent than one that can leap from tree to tree and that can spawn the fruit of it's loins within moments.

The deck has a massive amount of board presence, and obtains it very quickly. Chatter of the Squirrel and Acorn Harvest may be your only squirrels only on, but with how there is a lack of hand advantage in this deck, the Flashback is welcomed. Squirrel Nest and Arbor Elf cause a little combo, pumping out more and more squirrels per turn. Deranged Hermit is one of the cards in this deck that makes it insane. Dropping 4 1/1 squirrel creature tokens on the field with his arrival, along with pumping them up, is HUGE. Yes, he does have an echo cost of five, but I'm happy to pay that cost. And even if I don't, I still just created more board presence. Squirrel Mob gets huge very quickly. Time it after your board gets huge, drop him, watch opponents cry. Simple. The reason he isn't played at a full play set is due to him being heavily reliant on his kin being on the field, but he's good enough to be a 3 of. Druid's Call is the final, significant masterpiece to this deck. Enchant it to Squirrel Mob. Swing. If they decide to block, you get a ton of tokens, making him bigger. If they decide to take damage, then they are in trouble. And so, now you see why Squirrels destroy all tribal decks, from the menacing vampires to the merfolk that lurk on the shores of Theros.
