Sideboard

Let's try to stay ahead of this new meta shall we?

What cards can we expect to be strong going forward these next couple months and why. And how do we combat them and still play our game.

Hangarback Walker: Public Enemy #1, as a creature that simply must be dealt with via "exile effects" which we can easily use to combat other problem creatures as well. I will focus here.

Collected Company: More powerful than any other spell in standard, this baby will only further become more powerful as the card selection for it now is at its peak.

Monastery Swiftspear/Abbot of Keral Keep: The big (or small in this case) red machine will be overwhleming in its dominance for a while even after rotation because of these two incredible creatures.

Demonic Pact: Slowly becoming a very powerful engine for black mages to take over an advantage in a match.

Den Protector: the second coming of Eternal Witness has proven it is very very good. So good that both Abzan and Sultai use it almost as a "default include" in any list from control to aggro.

Dragonlord Atarka : The most powerful dragon in recent memory is Thundermaw Hellkite this is no T.H. , but it is simply a game-ender in R/G devotion, and is in other powerful dragon based lists.
