A god-heavy UW midrange deck in a Devotion to White shell with a tendency to flood the board with tokens.

I have been infected with the Conley Woods malady this standard rotation. I have been building, brewing and playing with Spirit Wall (a revamped version of my Flame of Anor deck from pre-theros), Boros Aggro, Azorius Heroic (my Prison Break list is still mad of hilariousness), American Control, American Pillow Fort, Big Boros, Turbofog and Golgari Reanimator.

In background to all of this I have been tuning the list I am about to present. It's taken hour after hour and FNM after FNM, but I think it's now at a good point.

The idea of the deck is to use the synergy between Ephara, God of the Polis and token generation effects. Cards like Precinct Captain and Brimaz, King of Oreskos can generate board presence and card advantage symultaneously with Ephara on the field. If backed up with enough mana, Heliod, God of the Sun easily makes you draw an extra card every turn. Elspeth, Sun's Champion does that too, but then again, she usually wins games by herself.

Without Ephara, the deck still plays the very good early game that white decks are used to. Sometimes you just get a couple Judge's Familiar and a Spear of Heliod backed by some removal and you win like that.

The deck won my local FNM on Apr 11.

This deck always has had a problem with boardwipes. True, sometimes you are ok if you can stick a Heliod or an Ephara, but having to rebuild from scratch sucks. On top of that, control decks (in the various Azorius, Esper, Orzhov or Mono-black flavors) are the main part of the meta and I need to put a bigger roadblock on their way if I want to win those matches.

What I have been thinking about is to remove Judge's Familiar (it's a cool card and everything but I feel they are not pulling their weight) and put a green splash in so that the deck can run a playset of Voice of Resurgence. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts.
