Blind Obedience actually performs multiple functions when in the mainboard. It slows down aggro early and keeps them from blocking in the mid-game, it prevents flash blocks from midrange decks using Restoration Angel and Advent of the Wurm while also making sure their Thragtusk s can't block immediately, and provides reach against control with extort. It was always quite good in every matchup.

Last night my friend pull Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts in what turned into a huge cold war. he had 26 life and i had 10. I won, but not sure if i played it right. I attacked with 9 1/1 Soldiers and 4 others ( Hellrider ). He could only block 5 of them which would end up leaving him with 1 health. I played Boros Charm so my creatures were indestructible. Would his Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts still create 1/1 creatures since my creatures could not die?

When i said 1 life that was assuming i used Boros Charm for the 4 damage.

@se7en44 The FAQ for the card states: "You get a Spirit creature token even if Teysas triggered ability doesnt destroy the creature (perhaps because it regenerated or is indestructible)."

"also gives me the infinite life combo with Boros Reckoner and Boros Charm /Frontline Medic " can you please explain this to me? I think I'm missing something.

se7en44 - The Infinite Life Combo revolves around Boros Reckoner, Boros Charm/Frontline Medic, Nearheath Pilgrim, and any source of damage directed towards Reckoner (Searing Spear/Blocking/etc). What you do is soul-bound Pilgrim to Reckoner giving him life-link, then wait for one or even yourself to deal damage to reckoner then flash in Boros Charm to make in indestructible. Thus activating Reckoners effect in selecting a target creature to deal damage to equal to the same damage reckoner was dealt. You would select himself over and over, as a result sing reckoner is essentially "Dealing Damage" it is activating Life-Link each time it deals damage making him continually having you gain life over and over until you decide to stop (Infinite Life Gain)
Jimhawk - Yesterday, I entered into a Standard Tourny and I decided to run your deck both siding in Blind Obedience and Legion's Innitiative (Don't have Ajani) as well as 3 Legion Loyalist. I did top 4 with the deck; however, I did notice that playing both these enchantments really slowed the game down. Yes, Obedience has it upside very much with extort and it's effect, but I see Loyalist overpowering the match-ups most of the time. I was matched twice with a token deck using Voice and Loyalist won me those games with it's effect. I notice you liked Loyalist, but I just see it being a main over Ajani and Blind Obedience because of the slowness and the loss of playing another creature instead.

I didn't really do enough testing one way or the other to definitively determine whether I liked Legion Loyalist
more than Blind Obedience
and Ajani, Caller of the Pride
. I think it definitely is the better choice right now as Junk Tokens (powered by Voice of Resurgence
and Advent of the Wurm
) continues to make a rise.
For everyone following the deck, you may have noticed a lack of updates recently, particularly any detailed reports. I have actually switched my deck to my Naya Midrange, The Nayan Apocalypse, and my work on that deck has occupied my time over this one. I think that this aggro deck has lost a little of its oomph since the release of Dragon's Maze because it didn't get enough support from the new set while other decks got huge boosts. That said, I did top 8 DGM Game Day with this deck, but only by the skin of my teeth. It would require some more work to keep up with the current metagame.
I will probably be retiring this deck after making some concluding remarks on it within the week.

Hi I really like this deck and maybe will rebuild it because I already have most of the cards. Looking forward to play it in my local store at FNM until it rotates out.
You would make any changes due to Magic 2014?

This deck is really good but its going to take a rotation pretty hard Ogre Battledriver good for Hellrider

I would say Blind Obedience for fast aggro (e.g. Naya blitz) and your faster midrange decks, but Legion Loyalist for most other matchups. No?
