Bow to the might of the Primal Surge of the Sliver Hive!

This was my first EDH deck. As such this deck has changed a lot since its inception. It went from all Sliver to a more refined device. The idea is to get the right Slivers on the field, get my protection up (Crystalline Sliver), get some evasion (Galerider Sliver or Horned Sliver), maybe some boost (Sliver Legion) and then go for the win with Commander Damage. This is built around Primal Surge to find a massive number of creatures, lands and enchantments.

Tricks though, this deck has. Mix in the Two-Headed Sliver with Familiar Ground and nothing can now block them. Intruder Alarm with the Basal Sliver + Heartstone + Sliver Queen with any Hasty Sliver for instant face smashing. Primal Surge and Beastmaster Ascension are your win more cards. This deck has been built with that in mind to maximize what you get with Primal Surge. Genesis Wave is being considered as it can work to unleash the Hive in a massive way without the limitations of Primal Surge.

Going Colorless is a great defense in this deck as it gives you more options to attack and protections or intimidate don't work against you. Then you have All Is Dust + Ghostflame Sliver .

Most recently added is the Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth . This also works well with the Sedge Sliver as well.

The Obelisk of Urd works to further boost the already powerful Hive. With its Convoke cost, it is very possible to get out with minimal cost. The boost works very well. Urza's Incubator gives me something to cut the cost of the Silvers as well.

The landbase has easily been the trickiest thing to manage. A 5 color deck is very hard to manage in general. This is the one thing that is continually under construction. The more colors I can get from a land and the more mana I can easily manage the better. Some of the best cards are very costly to get out. Anything that helps toward that end. As I don't want to invest a lot, I'm adding in what Shocklands I happen to own and using the Pain Lands to improve my manabase.

One other thing I want to work on with this deck is finding more ways to speed up the playing of Slivers. That or finding a way to protect myself while the Slivers are getting into gear.
