Storm crow is officially OP for more proof you can see: Battle of wins but it does not do what this deck is built to do. The more OP the card, the less friends you make at FNM.
PS. It is not standard.

I think you should include Oracle of Mul Daya so you can potentially play more shocks untapped every turn!

Sounds good! Just what the deck wants to do, but the problem is, this deck has to be played standard at FNM so people can make new friends with it. But I will certainly use the idea of land-battlefield effects to make for even shorter games! time to get rid of some fillers!

Replace Plains , Swamp , Mountain , Island and Forest with Misty Rainforest , Verdant Catacombs , Arid Mesa , Scalding Tarn and Marsh Flats , just so you can lose more life per land drop.

Could we make it faster by perhaps adding some burn spells and hitting ourselves with them?

That would be cool, but what do you think we should take out. I was thinking about Jinxed Idol to help along but everything is to good to take out.

Explore ? It gets more lands. Probably some Burning Earth or Blood Moon as well. This is one of the most powerful modern decks I have ever seen.

also, to maximize damage you should just run 4 of each shock and some painlands.

I ran Burning Earth but got replaced with Azusa. Explore could be good but I think of anything to take out. This deck is already so good that I can't take something out without mourning for eternity.

You need the full set of every fetchland. If you're already breaking the Standard rules, why not go for the ally-color fetchland cycle? It'll get you for 3 instead of 2 damage, ending the game even faster.
Also, Fastbond and Price of Progress are essential to this deck.

I LOVE Fastbond ! Price of Progress is good, but would be better if it just hit you. We don't want to hurt anyone, now do we?

You should add Ancient Tomb , Glacial Chasm , Bloodstained Mire , Flooded Strand , Polluted Delta , Windswept Heath , Wooded Foothills , Dash Hopes , Ebonblade Reaper , and Shahrazad . Make sure to get 4 of each fetchland, they're important to the strategy.
Then play Death Wish to find more fetchlands!

All are great suggestions, but I can't take something out without mourning for eternity. I can go for Ancient Tomb , but that's about it.

Probably needs an Immolating Souleater or two as a backup window conditioner.
April 5, 2014 6:15 a.m.
Didn't even think of that. Hex Parasite comes out faster.
April 5, 2014 9:57 a.m.
InconspicuousPotato says... #19
but Hex Parasite isn't a window conditioner.

Yeah, I think i'll side that. Everyone uses that in the side!
April 5, 2014 10:19 a.m.
It took me a few seconds to figure out what you guys are talking about "window conditioner"...
I think windows are best left unconditioned. IMO it's best to be able to see clearly, I guess I little windex would be appropriate. just keep that in mind, I think it'll help with this deck.
