Yeah, I was wondering about the pacts in the updates. They do look pretty good.

Your turn 1 lose doesn't work because phyrexian mana is a cost. You can't pay 2 life if you don't have 2 life. However, with Mana Crypt, you can go down to 2 and then use Ancient Tomb to lose, since it's not a cost.
Also, how does this deck do in the mirror?

Oh, I see, I guess I will add the pacts. I will get around to that soon. What do you mean by the mirror?

Dummy #1 Took a hand with Stomping Ground, Steam Vents, Temple Garden, Crystal Vein, Unexpected Results, Fastbond, and Immolating Souleater.
Dummy #2 Took a hand with Verdant Catacombs, Misty Rainforest, Steam Vents, Sacred Foundry, Stomping Ground, Breeding Pool, and Fastbond.
Dummy #1 went first and played a Temple Garden untapped, (18 life) Then proceeds to play Fastbond, and Steam Vents, (15 life) then played an Immolating Souleater going down to 2. Dummy #2 Drew Ancient Tomb, played Verdant Catacombs and sacrificed it to tutor for a Breeding Pool untapped. (17 life). Then played Fastbond, and Misty Rainforest, and sacrificed it for another untapped Breeding Pool, (13 life), and then played the following: Steam Vents (9 life), Sacred Foundry (4 life), Stomping Ground (-2 life), Breeding Pool (-9 life), and Ancient Tomb (-17 life) (all untapped).

Yup, pretty one sided. It was close, by 2 life! But yeah. Dummy 1 pulled through.

If you want to win with this, Near-Death Experience is pretty nice.

Soul Conduit sideboarded for match 2 would be interesting to test your friendships.

Yeah, lol. I don't think the game would be that long though.

I would like to suggest Spoils of the Vault. With a bit of luck, you should be able to lose 20 life if you name a card that you own in a single copy.

...Or you could name a card that isn't in the deck and lose instantly.

I guess that works. Man I should make like three of these decks.

I love how the decks costs over 800$ to lose every time on turn 1 or 2...
Losing IS costly, after all!

Oh yeah. Even more so then winning. But for $800 you can make tons of friends!
January 27, 2015 8:29 p.m.
Um... I think it loses every time to "tron"... so, um... well, by the decks standards it works great. very consistent, 100% of the time.

Not to nitpick at all, but shouldn't this be added to the theme/gimmick hub? =)
I like themes and gimmicks, so give credit where it is due!

Gut Shot? Pay 2, and hit you for one, it can help you getting off those odd life totals.

Unexpected Results in my opinion is too weak for a deck which claims to win by turn 1 or 2. You should replace it with Spoils of the Vault. You need to adjust mana base a bit to have more black, but it's definitely a better card. You could also run only 2 copies of it, so you could fetch the first for the second and then name Spellskite for a faster win.

Why are you not running x4 Intervention Pact, x4 Pact of the Titan and x4 Summoner's Pact? run all 12 and your almost guaranteed to lose before the game even starts. just cast one out before your upkeep and BAM! you lose. I guess Intervention Pact needs a source, but you could choose a land...
I don't know the rules about the terms "source of your choice" but can you choose anything? like the opponents left kidney, or a card in your hand? Either way these pacts are a must for the turn one win (for the other guy).
