Does Mutavault trigger Cloudfin Raptor 's evolve every time it mutates to a 2/2?

The Doctor says... #3

No, I wish it did.

It doesn't because it's already on the battlefield when it triggers.

Are 4 x Thasa, God of the sea really necessary? I really think I'd like to see two, and then bump Cyclonic Rift to four. It'd give you a better chance to delay someone with just casting it a time or two, before a turn 7-8 board bounce (prior to which you give the "Hello Stonehenge!" speech from The Pandorica Opens episode).

Yes. She is one of the main sources of damage, and I cycle through so many cards, that multiples of her are very rarely an issue.

+1 Do you really need 25 lands? Why not cut 1 for a jace?

There are so many double and triple mana cards, that I'd rather not run into the trouble of not being able to play them.

and I have enough card cycling going on that if I don't need the lands, then I can just pretty much toss them.

It's a 2/2 body that's also a land.

January 5, 2014 11:49 p.m.

The Doctor says... #14

Essentially a free 2/2.

Master2014 says... #15

Ok, technically playing a tapped 2/2 for nothing.

Pretty much. Really only useful in mono-color and dual-color decks though.
