As a finisher, Descent of the Dragons? Transmute all 1/1 locusts into 4/4 dragons :):)

Oh! I forgot! Get something like Impact Tremors Warstorm Surge or Pandemonium which works wonders with so many little 1/1s. Especially with how many cards you're drawing.

How has Kraum, Ludevic's Opus played? To me he seems weak, but I've never tested him, so

Impact Tremors and Vicious Shadows seem like perfect additions to the deck

No Keranos, God of Storms? I think a storm of locust is still a storm.

gockley: Thanks for the comment! You say yours is more wheel-heavy: any good ones I'm missing, other than Windfall? I love the concept of Mindwrack Liege and Library of Leng here, those definitely need to find a slot, thanks! I do think Arcanis the Omnipotent is too expensive, and I don't want to give cards to my opponent with Fevered Visions, however. Thanks again! Hamster2558: I'm afraid it's probably not worth it; it's almost always 5 damage to the player with the highest life total rather than giving me cards.

Fungreatmario: Nah, the deck's combos are slow - I can't consume all of T7 to set back my opponents unfortunately.

ArmorEuro: I've considered it, but it's 12 mana :( kinda win-more here.

Workman4137: Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind is in here, but I'm not sure why Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius would fit (I think he's very weak actually). My plan for dealing with running out of cards is discarding Kozilek, Butcher of Truth to reshuffle my library - more efficient than Elixir of Immortality since I can also use him as a wincon. I haven't faced much mass discard (my meta tends to be very fast and low-CMC) but I should generate enough fliers to block Nicol Bolas, at least. For now I do have Purphoros, the most powerful token ETB effect, and I'll see if I need more... And I'm playing a silly combo deck where as many cards as possible try to draw into more cards (like a storm deck), so Counterspell effects aren't a priority at the moment. I would love Mana Drain if I could afford one (since it also works as acceleration), but for now it's out of my reach... Thanks for your comment! :)

lucal13: I'm undecided on Windfall here...if I have many cards in hand, it actively harms me because I "donate" that many cards to my opponents.

veggiesblowup: I'm afraid I do think he's too slow. The average CMC is already really high here, and I need to try and lower it further.

would Young Pyromancer have a home here? theres a combo that used to be ran in pyro-delver decks idk if you think anything of it.

also theres this card that lets you destroy creatures and place a 4/4 dragon in its place? i forgot the name but im sure 4/4 dragons are alot scaries than 1/1 locusts ahahaha

How about Nephalia Academy. It is like a Library of Leng but on a land.

Oh. I forgot that kozilek could do that. 8/ at least run a Contradict. It may be a bad counterspell but it still nets you a card.

Vman: I don't think that Young Pyromancer fits too well here TBH. I'm not playing as many instants/sorceries as one would think. And Descent of the Dragons definitely goes onto the maybeboard, thanks!

Hamster2558: Nephalia Academy protects me from opponents' discard effects, so it might have a place. But it can't preserve cards from my Wheel of Fortune effects, which is even more valuable to me. Onto the maybeboard it goes! ;)

Workman4137: If I wanted a counterspell that drew me a card, I'd probably go with Remand, Dream Fracture, or Arcane Denial. It's just not in the gameplan for this deck, though. And I'm afraid I don't have a good way of cheating out Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur at the moment...but he's been an allstar in my Sidisi, Brood Tyrant deck! :)

Micocoulier: Ooh! Rites of Initiation is intriguing; I forgot that card even existed haha. I'll also consider Obelisk of Urd - it's an interesting idea since it's "free" with 6 Locusts out. Thank you for the comment! If you like the deck, +1s are appreciated ;)

Flux is pretty nice and worth a consideration.

I also think Inner Fire is a trap in this deck. It only nets Mana when you'll have five cards after you've cast it and doesn't particularly help advance the board state with The Locust God out or gain that much ramp. I mean look at Distant Melody, at the same cost you can draw tons and create tons of tokens.

Podder: Thanks for the comment! :) I wanted Inner Fire in here to give myself the necessary mana to chain my draw spells and find the combo, but I might cut it for other spells, thanks. And I forgot Flux existed. Now, do I want to give my opponents that much control over the Wheel...questions questions...

How did you get that card as your commander? I want to make the sphinx tribal deck with the spoiled legendary sphinx. But I don't know how to put that card as the CMDR. A lil help please.

There are two ways to make a newly spoiled card your commander:

1) You can submit an alter for an already-existing card and use that. That's accessed through the "Alters" option in the Folder icon at the top, and this is a good guide for how to do it.

2) You can add the card to the T/O database yourself, in the Cards tab at the top of the site. I use this option because it also gives free feature tokens as a perk, but it can take a day or so for the admins to approve it.

Tolarian Winds is a cheap self wheeling effect.

Also if you can get the pieces together, Kyren Negotiations along with Throne of the God-Pharaoh can deal out some extra damage without having to attack.

I'm surprised that there is no Jace, the Mind Sculptor in this deck.

Also While playing it i've found that i could make a Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Tandem Lookout combo with Synthetic Destiny, but the lookout weren't there! (I'd put Tandem Lookout instead of Kraum, Ludevic's Opus. opponent also maybe wouldn't veer cast second spell..)

I also have a question on how does Synthetic Destiny works with commander. Does He comes back to cmd. zone?
