Stuff...thangssss

This deck takes the role of just about anything you might need it to be at the time. Can it press the board and turn aggro without over committing to the board? Yes. Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Lightning Strike, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker, as well as Crackling Doom help to provide early board pressure and allow you to keep constantly swinging at life totals.

Midrange? Where the deck shines the most. We have utility, functionality, and value. Siege Rhino coming down at the right time can dominate nearly any board state, as well as putting you out of bolt range. Too much life keeps aggro out of the game. Wingmate Roc is a nice closer in games in which the board becomes clotted. I do not speak for everyone, but I have had a few Abzan matches, in which the Roc came down earlier than they wanted it to, and it closed out grueling games.

Control? Removal for days. Removal before removal. Crackling Doom , Lightning Strike, Hero's Downfall, Utter End, things become a little frustrating for an opponent who does not have creatures. But what if they have something else (Ascendancies)? Thoughtseize takes many options away from the opponent, The overall disruption and options the card brings to the table is ludicrous, unfair. Elspeth, Sun's Champion (which adds great walls for blocking when in the red) and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker close out games when there are no more pressing threats.

Closing Statement: Sarkhan, Sarkhan, Sarkhan. This guy is crazy! I know he sees play in many red decks, but let me take some time to discuss him. When he comes into play, he turns nearly every game in to a winnable situation, hence my decision to run 3 instead of 2. I want to pull this more often to close games out. I like top decking in a pinch , but let us make it more statistically probable.

That being said, this already has an FNM win, and I want to keep it going. Here is hoping the build gets fully ironed out.

Another 2-2 showing. I lost to Mardu Midrange(same guy and build) again. And uncharacteristically to Temur Monsters. I mean Honestly, all game, no Elspeth, no End Hostilities, no Crackling Doom, no removal at all. Just died. SO some changes for that tournament.
