with 4x Dark Petition you could reduce the number of Harmless Offering so you less likely have 2 of those sitting dead in your hand (also reduce the number of other combopieces). you tutor for whatever combopiece you need at the time and when spellmastery is active, what usually will be the case, you will only have to pay 1 extra mana for more consistency in general.

You need some way to protect casting Harmless Offering. If it gets countered, you will end up losing the game. Maybe use some discard to cast before casting Offering?

consider Goblin Dark-Dwellers, almost all of your spells are targets for the etb trigger. Can act as additional Offerings in case they get countered.

I'm sure you've heard this before, and you're going to hear it now, drop the bad defenders and get good ones, like Accursed Witch Flip

The only thing missing in this horrible (read here beautiful) deck is Emrakul. Demonic Pact, Harmless Offering, Emrakul, choose lose the game for them on their turn, laugh.

You can't get Emrakul out for super cheap with this shell, it's too heavy on what you don't want it to be

I take that back, I think a 1 or maybe a 2 of Emrakul would be good

Accursed Witch + Goblin Dark-Dwellers seem a little to slow on my fourth and fifth turn ideally i want to be playing my win cons

I suggest hand control for sidedeck cause Sigarda and Obrs of warning breake yours win conditions, Duress and transgress the mind can to that job, infinite obliteration for others combo decks and something red to destroy artifacts :P

Maybe ruinous path over murder? Just a suggestion. Maybe even Trangress the Mind? I also have to agree very, very mean deck!
August 4, 2016 10:12 p.m.
Collective Brutality or Transgress the Mind seem like good ways to protect your harmless offerings or to slow down your opponents.

This deck should be running Fiery Temper because of the discard outlets and because it's instant speed. You have no instant speed interactions right now outside of Smash to Smithereens in your sideboard. I think having at least 1 mainboard instant removal (that you can also discard and madness) is important. The problem I have is what to take out for it. Incendiary Flow is useful because it's 2CMC and can exile what it kills. You could take out 1 Read the Bones without impacting yourself too much. Probably one Tormenting Voice as well.

Okay, so here's what you do:
Drop 1 of Pact and 1 of Phobia for 1 Soul Separator and 1 Emrakul, the Promised End and rename the deck "Don't make a girl a promise if you know you can't keep it" (or the blander "Demonic Offering to Emrakul")
Additionally I'd also use 2 Cryptolith Fragment Flip over Guardians of Meletis.
Not only should this make your deck more consistent, you also set yourself up with 13 win cons instead of 14. One of which opens up the possibility to force the opponent to choose to lose the game.

can I please just say that Harmless Offering has the best and funniest art/flavour text I have ever seen.

But seriously, this is like the deck version of Akroan Horse. I love it.
August 27, 2016 7:46 p.m.
Funny you say that, cause I think that jcpg33 should put Akroan Horse in over Guardians of Meletis.

Oh, okay, sorry. I honestly don't have much experence with competive magic.

You should be careful, some cards will be removed from Standard format at the end of this month with Kaladesh.
September 11, 2016 6:35 p.m.
yeah i know but some of them have (admittedly weaker) replacements and 9 times out of 10 trisk and perdition are what wins the game
