I find Masumaro, First to Live to be rad-tastic for zegana - get them out with deadeye and laboratory maniac and it's over. Overwhelming Stampede is a sweet way to win. I'm also a huge fan of Myojin of Life's Web and Myojin of Seeing Winds .

I tried playing with Maro and was underwhelmed, but Overbeing of Myth almost always leads to me winning, so I'm inclined to like Masumaro. The Myojin are a little expensive, IMO, and that mana could be better spent putting my win combo together. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Love the deck! What about Psychosis Crawler. Have him out when your commander hits the board and that's a huge hit.

I thought about it but it seems off-theme. This deck tends to draw in fits and bursts so it's not really consistent pressure, but it can kill a lot of people. Definitely would be good, either way I look at it. Thanks for the suggestion.

1 ) This deck is like my love-life: too much cardboard 2 ) For how much you love her, you get +1 and a folder

so, I too have an answer for the 3 best words in mtg, if you'd care to hear it.

"liliana vess porn" OR "channel fireball, bitch!"

Since those words don't actually appear in any rules or flavor text, DERPLINGSUPREME, I'm going to have to disagree with you.

I think my good buddy Vorel of the Hull Clade would work nicely in this deck...especially in conjunction with your favorite card Fathom Mage. Nothing quite like doubling up your counters and drawing cards, haha
I keep trying to get a Simic deck to work myself as I love this color combo and I love drawing cards, but for some reason I've had very limited success. I wish you the best with your version though! +1 from me!

I had Vorel in a very early version of this deck. He was too slow, though, and I needed more sources of counters. He's great with Fathom Mage but I'd really rather use him as the general of a different deck.
This list works pretty well. I attacked someone for 50 or so with an Overbeing of Myth the other day, and that kind of thing really isn't uncommon. You can go more combo-heavy with more Maro-style cards and Conjurer's Closet or you can do more of the ramp-stompy with Zegana to refill your hand. This list can do both.

zegana can also be combo-centric with deadeye + lab maniac, or many other combos in the colors (Mind Over Matter + Temple Bell + eldrazi in deck is a personal favorite for its difficulty to stop).
I would strongly consider Garruk, Caller of Beasts in this build. He's powerful.

I actually just took Garruk out. He kept putting my counterspells and sol rings on the bottom of my deck. I put in Garruk, Primal Hunter instead. I do certainly use the Deadeye Navigator + Laboratory Maniac + Prime Speaker Zegana combo, but I don't beeline it.

+1 for the name and the fact that you decided to foil out this deck. Bravo! I hope you have a safe for this deck, lol.

With Commander 2015 here, one of my new favorite UG cards is Biomantic Mastery. Also, would you consider Masumaro, First to Live too expensive for this deck? His ability is incredible for a deck that can draw like a maniac... just last night, my Masumaro got up to 72/72. Needless to say, it was pretty sweet.

Mastery can draw a lot of cards but doesn't do anything else. A lot of my draw also gives me a creature or doesn't require further mana input. Cards that just draw cards feel a bit too slow.

Another card that might be worth considering is Riptide Laboratory. It's an easy way to bounce your wizards for recasting, whether to save them from harm or just to re-trigger ETB effects. It works with Zegana, as well as your Fathom Mage, Momir Vig, Simic Visionary, and Prophet of Kruphix among others.

You foiled out a weak version of the deck that is lacking in any real power in a semi competitive meta... nice! In all seriousness tho it probably is pretty fun to play with a fully foiled out deck.

Oddly, one of my main opponents in my playgroup is a Jhoira of the Ghitu deck that uses tons of suspend manipulation. Good points, though.
