What do you think of adding red for Akroan Crusader , Legion Loyalist , and some other stuff? Precinct Captain should be a 4-of since he makes soldiers and Brimaz, King of Oreskos is pretty good too.

The deck PT 2015: Alex Sittner - "No Limit Soldiers" focuses on mixed white and red. I made this deck as a mono-white variant. Precinct Captain and Brimaz, King of Oreskos are great cards, but the focus is to get one drops down fast to be able to get Obelisk of Urd in via convoke. Thanks for the upvote.

nice deck hows it function against burn you should test it against Slaughter and Riots

It's a race against burn, in which case I side in Mortal's Ardor and 2 more Lagonna-Band Trailblazer .

Was trying to make something similar but I like the all out low drop approach, trying to fit Precinct / Brimaz or Dictate of Heliod etc make sit a bit slower...
Anger of the Gods is probably the biggest enemy you would see, and it's not run all that often in the meta....so this would do well I would think...

They key to the deck is one drops. That's the whole gimmick; get those three lands and three creatures out to convoke Obelisk of Urd on turn 3.
With the Obelisk out, almost half the creatures ( Favored Hoplite ,Lagonna-Band Trailblazer and Nyxborn Shieldmate ) would survive Anger of the Gods .
I'm pretty stoked with this build. I just ordered 4x Legion Loyalist to build Sittner's deck, but I'm considering running this one at FNM.

Lagonna-Band Trailblazer makes no sense in here. You have almost no heroic triggers and he isn't a soldier. He is bad in this deck.

I overlooked that it is a scout, not a soldier. I'll swap it out. Thanks for catching that.

If you're going for a soldier theme, why not Preeminent Captain ? I know its a three drop, but it cheats more of your creatures onto the field

Top - decking a Preeminent Captain might throw a wrench into how the deck aims to run. I'd prefer not to even main deck Aegis of the Gods , but I don't have anymore white 1 drop soldiers available to me.

+1, love the deck.
Since there's no more white 1-drop soldiers, would Kinsbaile Skirmisher or Leonin Snarecaster be a better add than Aegis of the Gods ? Both are still soldiers and they let you potentially push a bit more damage through, which I think would be more valuable than having hexproof.

I like the deck, but I feel like 4 Obelisks just isn't where you want to be (but I may be wrong, who knows). I'm pretty sure you don't want the Aegis since stuff that targets you isn't really something you care about (Something like Devour Flesh or Thoughtseize , since you can just keep flooding the board against Lifebane Zombie ).
The first thing I notice is the Mortal's Ardor in the sideboard. I feel like if you're going to use that card, put it mainboard or take it out. I suggest Devouring Light in its place to take out those pesky monsters like Polukranos, World Eater , who just dominates your deck.

@WomboCombo Glad you like it! Replacing Aegis with Kinsbaile Skirmisher or Leonin Snarecaster is a GREAT suggestion. I'll try both, but I'm leaning towards the Snarecaster. The ETB +1/+1 is great, but ideally everyone will already be pumped up, thus the tap affect will yield direct damage. Plus, I've wanted a reason to include Leonin Snarecaster in a deck. Although the Skirmisher becomes a 4/4 with the Obelisk, putting it out of Anger of the Gods range. That card is a problem for this deck. Decisions, decisions... Thanks for the upvote!
@Aboithagameboi The deck is built around having an Obelisk in your opening hand, so that stays a 4-of. Mortal's Ardor is sided in against burn and other aggro decks as an advantage when we race. I'll add Devouring Light to my maybeboard as an option. Thanks for your perspective.

This is a cool idea. 2 Reprisal (vs. green decks, Desecration Demon ) and 1 Heliod, God of the Sun (vs. control, attrition) may be better than the 3 Mortal's Ardor that you are currently running. +1.

@TheFanatic:Mortal's Ardor is in to answer burn decks and other aggro races. Perhaps I could pull the three Gods Willing to make room for Reprisal and Heliod, God of the Sun . What do you think?

@luizguedes Preeminent Captain would slow this deck down too much.

This is a nice WW deck, how did i do for preparing it for post rotation Winning With White (don't see any good mono coloured cards coming out for khans but we'll have to wait and see)

Thanks! Your deck looks pretty solid. I'm looking forward to see what Khans has in store for us.

Preeminent Captain is too expensive for what I'm going for with this deck. My goal is to land 1-drops quick and get Obelisk of Urd on the board. I have another deck, WW World Tag Team Champions that includes the Captain that has more of a late game threat than this deck. This deck is all about the quick turn 4-6 win.

You can't count on other players to be nice unfortunately. For some reason U/W control players always seem to be the ones that act that way.

How would you deal with Stormbreath Dragon or Blood Baron of Vizkopa ? You may want to include a couple of Celestial Flare s in your sideboard in case you run into this, because as of right now your only hope is to run them over before they can cast them.
