Mardu Scout is better for decks that run board wipes. Other than that,Spike Jester is way better, but if you are running mono-red then it is great for a replacement for Spike Jester. Although I wouldn't run a playset of him as he is best for a topdeck later in the game. You're not going to cast this card on your second turn.

On another note, Shared Animosity is also a great goblin card. A lot of lists run him.

I never considered adding one! Thanks, derpling! I'm going to go with Goblin Grenade for now, because it impersonates the goblin spirit almost perfectly.

To give credit to jasinatael my goblin deck was inspired by his. Its a great list I made some tweaks to in order to fit my playstyle.

+1! I've been a goblin tribal fan since last century, so it's good to see them gettin some love somewhere.

Here are two different goblin decks of mine, one Legacy, and the other EDH/Commander. They are both basically casual, budget builds, but the Legacy deck especially does pretty well. (Also, feel free to offer any specific advice.)

Hey man, great guide. You touched on a lot points I have learned in playing Goblins in Modern. If you'd like to see another list, check mine out.
