SirFowler - the list only has Beseech the Queen that it could transmute for, I cant imagine its worth playing.

Yeah, I realized that after I made the comment. I tried to edit my comment, but I couldn't because I waited too long.

I those in file already DERPLINGSUPREME. Well, not exactly the exact art for some of them, as others I have better art.
I haven't finished alter hunting yet so I haven't bothered to add them to the deck.

I do want to mention though that I'm glad you were able to find a Weathered Wayfarer, as that one has been illusive to me for quite a while.

Dunno how tight your coloured mana requirements are, but isnt Hanweir Battlements better than Flamekin Village. Can use it immediately the turn you play.
BTW i absolutely love this deck!

Hey I am building a deck with a lot of these ideas in mind. How do you deal with effects like aven mindcensor and leonin arbiter, and stranglehold before you can abuse the ability of high priest??

Aven Mindcensor, Leonin Arbiter, Stranglehold: Do link the cards please.
The creatures aren't as big of an issue as Stranglehold is. But it is important to know your meta. Much of the counterspells which hate on blue as being the deck's main weakness can be swapped for some efficient removal. However, search hate is generally a high priority target for everyone on the board in a competitive game so removing those pieces is the goal for anyone who has removal for them.

Thanks for the respond, I just created an account to ask the question so I haven't learned all the tricks. I want to keep the anti blue counters because there are two azami decks in my meta, a sen triplets and a tasigur control. I'm trying to mold this to my meta, and the tutor hate was something I had a hard time figuring out

What I suggest you do xSKINCOLLECTORx is remove some of the overly expensive cards that you might not be able to acquire and use stuff that can remove anything. Vindicate, Anguished Unmaking, Utter End, Council's Judgment, Grasp of Fate, Mangara of Corondor and Necrotic Sliver.

I have been playtesting this deck a lot and have about 80% of this list now. My question is what do I Entomb (sorry no brackets on my phone keyboard)Everytime I draw this card I stare and think of what possible play I could do. What do you use it for, other than only missing one piece in the graveyard

You have made a VERY good point there xSKINCOLLECTORx, and I realized that the best method to play this card is to actually use Imperial Recruiter and continually sac/reanimate it. However, I do think I'd need Whispersilk Cloak and Darksteel Plate on Alesha. I'll make some edits promptly.

Lol I'm glad I could help! But I have built this in paper and there is pretty much NO WAY I could use imperial recruiter! That one, imperial seal and grim tutor (sorry for no links) just aren't gunna happen. I am using recruiter of the guard right now (sorry again). Another question I had is about land tax, I decided not to include since there are only 7 basics in the build. Maybe you could help me understand why it is good here

xSKINCOLLECTORx: Land Tax results in an incredible deck top filtering shenanigans system. It requires having Land Tax, Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top on the field. Basically, your turns take like, 5 minutes each to take as you are literally figuring out so many variables of play to try and win in the most efficient and resilient way possible.

Nice build! +1 Upvoted. Alesha was my first EDH build, and I absolutely love her. She combos so fast that almost every time my opponents can't do a thing about it. Since I included Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Panharmonicon in my deck, it became even more fun. Keep it up!

I'm about to build anAlesha too, and i'm a little bit in shock that you don't use Flesh-Eater Imp, Why so?

Wow, I thought I was the only one that ran the Land Tax + Scroll Rack draw engine.
I don't know if you'd likely consider it, but Fiend Hunter also goes infinite with Karmic Guide and Goblin Bombardment/Blasting Station.
Also I see you're running High Priest of Penance, let me tell you that card is bonkers in this deck if you're reanimating and pinging him with a Desert. Destroying permanents every turn is fun especially when its cheap.
Also, I recently came across an infinite combo I don't think any other deck is using. I could see the combo: Goblin Trenches + Mana Echoes + Drownyard Temple doing really well in this deck since most EDH decks can have troubles removing enchantments and the fact you can generate the Goblins at instant speed means you can do so on an opponent's end step right before your turn by-passing the threat of boardwipes.
I hope my suggestions are of some use to you.

Oh, totally forgot to mention. Since you're running quite a lot of fetch-lands Bloodghast + Skullclamp would be pretty powerful for this deck, because whenever you play a land you can pay 1 to draw a card and if that land is a fetch-land you can pay 2 to draw 4 cards not to mention this effect is repeatable for all your turns. Normally you got to be running blue to get this kind of card advantage.

Hey, this is a great idea. Could you explain exactly how this combo works so I can wrap my brain around it.. So when I play it I can explain it properly? haha Fiend Hunter+Karmic Guide+Blasting Station
Thanks!

A cute combo you can utilize in this deck is Underworld Connections + Deserted Temple for a repeatable instant-speed Night's Whisper.

This is definitely a cool deck but I feel like it lacks board wipes

do you actually own all those alters? or are these just in the list because they look cool? ;)

thijmnesoy: I pitched the idea for an alters database for tappedout a long while back, it got implemented and I did first run of populating and advertising. I never did get all the alters I found posted by artists onto here (I have about like 1,300 or so) but many decks I had from that time I used to show off the alters system.

Have you ever thought about Netherborn Phalanx? It acts as a tutor, it has 2 power which can be brought back by alesha, and is great against token decks. The transmute can be a pain because you have to reveal, but it does get the job done, depending on if you have the right CMC for the transmute effect.
