This deck is tough to play against...even for my angels. I tip my hat to ya...this is a great deck. Kokusho, the Evening Star was a good fight, one to remember.

Thanks for the positive comment. Yes Kokusho, the Evening Star can def give this deck some trouble, but remember if you have the Boros Reckoner equip with Darksteel Plate , Basilisk Collar , and Pariah's Shield you can just tap a Adarkar Wastes for a colored mana doing 1 point to yourself which is then redirected to the Boros Reckoner , then have the Reckoner target itself for an instant & infinite healing loop which you can stop by dealing the damage elsewhere. We play with a house rule of a 100 life cap. I'm sure you probably used that combination to gain life like that already so this is really for anyone that happens to come across this comment. Thanks again.

This is a great deck! +1 here! I love how at first it looks like a Death and Taxes-style deck, but has the really cool combo element, too! I've also never seen Ashnod's Transmogrant , and I think it's a really cool card that works perfectly here.

@ProfessorDucky,thanks for the comment and vote. Yeah this deck is definitely a lot of fun to play. it has a couple of infinite combos and a nice lock down element that isn't over the top cheezy which means that you're friends will actually play against you.

I've been playing since revised so I have close to 20 or more of those dang Ashnod's Transmogrant and I never once played with them. I figured if i made a deck with them in it, it may very well be the only one in existence. It was a little high-5 to myself trying to be original.

Yeah, its a really cool deck. I just built a new modern deck, if you get the chance it'd be great to have an experienced player have a look: Whispers in the Night.
