You ought to end Tooth and Nail nothing more fun than tutoring for xenagos and another beater (a personal fave of mine is Dragonlord Atarka).

demonicgrizzly, Tooth and Nail is a great finisher. However it is banned in my playgroup (plus it's a rather expensive card I don't own).

Really appreciate the suggestion :)

Fair enough. Good deck otherwise!

I like your deck a lot and based a lot of cards according to yours in my dragon tribal. What do you think of a Thunderbreak Regent in a similar deck ?

Narrash, thanks for your interest in the deck! I considered Thunderbreak Regent. His casting cost is great. However, his 3 damage isn't really that much of a disincentive for opponents to target your dragons. 3 damage is a tiny price to pay in commander. I much prefer Scalelord Reckoner as opponents are much more reluctant to part with their best permanent.

having said all that, Thunderbreak Regent may still be a decent option based on low casting cost alone. you may find it worth testing :)

i also want to chime in on Thunderbreak Regent - it is really better in multiples, which isn't really possible in commander unless you can copy it.

I'm always running Thunderbreak Regent now since he enabled me to win against a more expensive Tribal Dragon deck...Ojutai, Soul of Winter's abilty triggered ten times - take 30 damage to the face beeyotch!!

Hey MegaMat have you yet read the card The Immortal Sun? Might be worth considering either here, or for one of your various other edh decks I see you have on here.

If not here it is:

, Legendary - Artifact

Players cant activate Loyalty abilities of Planeswalkers.

At the beginning of your draw step, draw an additional card.

Spells you cast cost 1 less to cast.

Creatures you control get +1/+1.

Delta-117: Looks like a great card! I think I'll put it in one of my mono white decks instead of here though. Mono white is in more dire need of spell cost reduction and card draw options.

Selvala's Stampede is one of my absolute favourite cards to play in green I'm happy it's in here.

I love Skyline Despot and Call to the Kindred in my Ur-Dragon deck. The Despot generates good tokens while monarch pulls cards, but since dragons draw such aggro I'm not sure how good it is. Call is just plain stupid, though. Wild Pair I often find is better than Tooth and Nail, even if it is slower. It's comparatively cheap, too.

Also, with Dromoka, the Eternal's triggers, I don't think that they all automatically choose the same creature because you have to order them on the stack so they don't resolve all at once, and you don't choose any targets. This lets you spread your counters around a bit. I'm not completely sure that's how it works, though, so I wouldn't swear by it.

DwaginFodder, thanks for your suggestions. I particularly like Skyline Despot as a possibility and I've added it to my maybelist. The monarch mechanic is risky unless you are building a dedicated pillowfort deck. It begs people to attack you. However, it may still be worth it with the extra card draw and tokens.

Hi MegaMatt13, have you ever considered Savage Beating? With just 2 5/5 dragons you can swing for a lethal 40 damage in a single turn. I think it deserves a spot as a surprise win card. Also, Scion of the Ur-Dragon is an excellent card and tutor in this deck, when you attack you can search and copy a dragon for a specific situation. Balefire Dragon to wipe a board, Hellkite Tyrant to steal all artifacts and equipment of an artifact heavy deck, etc. There's also a silly combo with Savage Ventmaw and Hellkite Charger in which you can take a bunch of extra combat phases. If you have Scion out, you can search and copy Atarka, World Render to swing for lethal and win. Hope this helps :)

mrcrow85, sorry for such a late response. I've now throw in Scion and he's great. I resisted him for a long time since ur Dragon doesn't give a cost reduction. however, after testing him he is indeed awesome. thanks for the recommendation.

savage beating is in my Zacama Deck as it has a lot of mana Doublers and tons of lands. this deck i find a little tight on mana for it.

Pretty much my deck but I run:

Primevals' Glorious Rebirth to revive a shit ton of dragons
Sarkhan, Fireblood much needed ramp
Fellwar Stone same as above
Colossal Majesty more card advantage
Skullclamp even more card advantage with 1/3 creature's in deck
Rhythm of the Wild speaks for itself

Also 37 lands seems a bit much with all these ramp cards, I went down to 35
