A Bant deck I really wanted to brew up so I decided to! I want to try and merge the ends of aggro and control into a perfectly blended midrange deck.

Besides stating the obvious uses of cards here are why most of these are used.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion is just an amazing win-con but ontop of that, Cast Supreme Verdict before playing here to kill your Voice of Resurgence's resulting in you getting tokens. After you receive the voice tokens then play her. Every time you +1 her now your voice token increases in power by 3!

Simic Charm I love that this card can not only return creatures to your opponents hand or turn a Voice of Resurgence into a 5/5 till end of turn BUT its main use in my deck is to make those terrible Hero's Downfall 's and Detention Sphere's not be able to hit Elspeth, Sun's Champion or any other core component at the time.

SIDEBOARD:

Gainsay , Mistcutter Hydra , Glare of Heresy in against control obviously.

Also Gainsay and Mistcutter Hydra are very effective against mono blue.

Ratchet Bomb is very good against mono black or blue as well.

But the real sneaky card in the board is Skylasher . What a clutch card. Opponent throws in a Nightveil Specter well guess what? He's useless against my Skylasher . Welcome to an easy way to finally cripple that stupid card or any other blue creature giving you issues.
