M15,Monday standard league week 1 and 3000+ views! —Aug. 5, 2014

Wanted to thank everyone for the comments, views, and plus 1's first of all! Second of all wanted to say that I've been busy lately and haven't been able to update the decklist in a while but I finally got to it today. As for business played in the first week of my local store's second standard magic league. Ended up 3-1 lost in top 8 because of horrible draws but the points beforehand are what matter.

Round 1

G/w aggro won 2-0

Aggro matchups are my favorite by far, as my aggro deck has much more depth and range then the majority of the meta, whether it's g/w, red, black, boss sligh, or blue. Once I drop a necromancer and or athreos with a decent board state it's game over, and that's just what happened both games, I drew well and it was pretty easy.

Round 2 dega brew (pair down) won 2-0

Game one I just rolled right over him, he couldn't deal with soldier of the pantheon and high priest prevented his late reckoners that didn't end up doing much of anything.

Game two was closer, my pain lands and a turn 1 thoughtseize brought me down to 13, he was able to counter an ajani's presence with a timely boros charm negating my high priest abilities, he had banished my pain seer and cartel aristocrat turns 3 and 4 :( I ended up getting a nice wall of creatures including my second aristocrat and did some silly sacrificing with necromancer and athreos out ended up with about 14 zombies as he couldn't pay to put my creatures in the graveyard and it was easy after a shaky start.

Round 3 u/w control lost 0-2

Both games I flooded out and couldn't get in for enough damage before he stabilized but it happens.

Round 4 mono blue devotion won 2-0

Game one I simply drew better and rolled over him a turn one soldier of the pantheon ended up getting upgraded to a 3/3 frog lizard and never slowed down

Game two was much closer, i deicided his thassa, and cruised along until he landed a master of waves and 5 elementals, game one I had the downfall this time I did not. After a few stagnant turns, I was able to double strive an ajani's presence and demolish his board state and gaining a few zombies alpha striked the next turn for game.

Too 8 was against mono black aggro

Game one was very close had I not flooded out on mana I would've won without a doubt

Game two mulled down to 5 seeing one or no lands each time, and he was able to curve out, couldn't do much at that point.

+1 Awesome title, first of all but even better I like this deck and the low mana curve. Also I like that you've got some planned change outs for M15, I liked the look of Xathrid Slyblade too. I think I'll try and build this one! Keep us updated!!! :)

This deck Could use Altar's Reap instead of Sign in Blood . I think it works better with your strategy.Pretty good stuff.
