Definitely throw in another Athreos, God of Passage since this deck sort of revolves around him being on the field. I'd take out a mana confluence for another temple because 3 is just to much life loss. Also think you should mainboard the thoughtsiezes. Immortal Servitude as a one of might be interesting since it brings back all of your 1 or 2 drops that your opponent worked so hard and payed life to get rid of.

I'd drop a Pain Seer for another Athreos, God of Passage myself. I am curious, does the WW cost of Banisher Priest ever become an issue? If so, cutting two of them for Banishing Light might be a decent option.

I've been debating the exact same things thanks guys! My local shop sucks so I have to find athreos and one more banishing like elsewhere they might have the servitude I'll give it a try thanks!!

I would run Deicide in sideboard over Keening Apparition , if it was a human that would be ridiculous but it's not, so Deicide is better.

Why do you have Hero's Downfall in your sideboard? Thats kinda premium removal in standard right now, every deck you meet is going to have a target for it. Something I think is worth mainboarding over Ultimate Price

the double black though, i usually just bring it in for planeswalkers, i actually might main board Celestial Flare since my mana base is primarily white

I just did a bunch of playtests with your deck (goldfish style), I didn't have a problem hitting double of either colour by turn 3 on every test.

That's surprising lol I've been having trouble with getting double black maybe you're luckier then me

Has everyone forgot about Rakdos Shred-Freak ? That card is a quick 2/1 drop haste smack that can get you a zombie and people probably won't want to pay the 3 life for it to be gone. Just seems like a great fit for these style decks.

i think it's the double black mana cost and the fact that Cartel Aristocrat , Precinct Captain , and Pain Seer are pretty popular in these decks as 2-drops, though i'd kinda like to see if it could work in a 3 color deck of this type...

you mention Blind Obedience and Imposing Sovereign in your description, but neither are in the actual deck list...whats up with that? However, I think that if you are going to use one of them, the creature is better than the enchantment because the creature triggers athreos.

I kind of like 2 Doomblade mainboard instead of Ultimate Price because you can hit Mutavault .

Yeah, two very good ideas my meta has been heavy on black creatures but as of late it's been switching so I probably will put in the doom blades, as for skyjek I need to purchase at least 2 more, and the sovereigns would also probably be good I just don't know what to cut @ ockius @ PlattBonnay what would you guys consider cutting??

I know you're trying to make room for Imposing Sovereign , may be worth pulling one of the Athreos, God of Passage and a Pain Seer to make room. Personal preference is against the Mana Confluence since they hurt and you're just a two color deck, running 4 of Godless Shrine and Temple of Silence should do the trick. Ultimate Price could be switched out for a couple Doom Blade for the versatility and I always like mainboarding a couple Banishing Light to hold the opposition off. Banisher Priest is nice but vulnerable. Good deck overall, though.

Have you considered putting the 2 Banisher Priest in sideboard to put in 2 Daring Skyjek or Imposing Sovereign ? It may have more utility for the setup you have going for you. Also, I too would drop a Mana Confluence for another Temple of Silence . It slows you slightly but the scry and no lifeloss could be very useful.

Thank you both for the feedback!
@ misterkyle I've been thinking the same thing about the Banisher Priest s, and yes Banishing Light is easier to cast so I'll do that. as for the scrys, lands that must come into play tapped are my biggest enemy. I need to be playing everything on curve without fail which is why i use the Mana Confluence
@ bigpappyj Athreos, God of Passage is the last thing I would cut only before Xathrid Necromancer the Pain Seer is an option though, but I still want to have some presence of black in this deck besides athreos. see what I said above about the scry lands. I do really want those Daring Skyjek s though. i might cut a Precinct Captain and a Pain Seer or Cartel Aristocrat .

I"d run one less Atheros and 3 less creatures for 4 Thoughtseize .
