Try to find more artifact tutors besides Stoneforge Mystic
Cavern of Souls
Ghostly Prison
Try auras as well as equipments, they'll stick around since Sigarda is hard to remove, and they can be pretty nasty. Alpha Authority, Armored Ascension, etc.

As it is, Sig dies more often than I would like her to, and equips have the added bonus of being reusable the next time I summon her, or if I want to stick them on other creatures (can't enchant a metalcrafted Etched Champion). I want to make the deck more artifact-centric, and can't devote spots to more auras.

Why not use Behemoth Sledge? It is basically a second Loxodon Warhammer. Those two equipment, other than the swords of X and Y, are IMO the 2 best equipments and need to be in here.

And Eldrazi Conscription, that is just stupid on Sigarda.
March 13, 2013 12:54 a.m.
I'm going to put in the Behemoth Sledge, but this deck is meant to be centered on equipments, because of reusability.

Needs more Eldrazi Conscription . If you're going to kill someone, best make sure you overkill them.

@ FaustHarbinger, it was mostly to pull double duty as an early wall/mana dork. I've replaced it, thank you!
@ jacaramanica, this voltron deck is strictly equipments, as to not dilute the theme and support. Eldrazi Conscription is awesome, but I would hardly ever hardcast it, and I don't have the space for cards that can cheat it out.

I playtested this a bit, I think the deck needs more creatures with Reach or Flying. It seems almost every Commander deck is full of Flyers.

Maybe, but it hasn't really been a problem for me. Sig herself is a flier, and she usually has vigilance, so she usually takes care of that for me.

think Argentum Armor , brass squire, Wall of Tanglecord and maybe Enlightened Tutor would be interesting.
June 13, 2013 11:52 p.m.
As Maverick30 said, Argentum Armor is right up your alley. You might want to play Mirari's Wake /Mana Reflection to get all those equipment artifacts out. I also recommend Privileged Position to troll your opponent's removal while Sigarda is out; they can't target your Voltron pieces anymore or get you to sack them. :P
I do have a question; do you find that you have problems with opponent's enchantments? I was looking through and noticed you pretty much have O-Ring to answer for Omniscience, or other degenerate enchantments.
June 14, 2013 12:11 a.m.
@Maverick30, The tutor is in my maybeboard (something I need to get). I actually had Brass Squire in the maybeboard too, but I don't think I would be able to find space for him. However, Buried Ruin is a good idea.
@MrZoichi, I have Argentum Armor and I really want to make it work, but my main concern is that it'll slow the deck down. There are only four cards in this deck above CMC 4, and I did it that way on purpose so that this deck could play out faster. The mana doublers Mirari's Wake / Mana Reflection I would consider, but I feel that they'll make me a target in group games (my meta is normally games of 4-8 people in FFA). I'll have to mess around with that, but for now I rely on green's hard ramp in order to power out my cards.
As for Privileged Position
, I'm not sure if I would run that, it seems really expensive (both CMC and pricewise) to me. I'm thinking of picking up Hanna's Custody
, Indomitable Archangel
, and/or Fountain Watch
for that role.
As for enchantment hate, I've currently got Beast Within , Nature's Claim , and Oblivion Ring . Enchantments haven't been too much of a problem for me yet, but what would you suggest for enchantment/artifact hate?
June 14, 2013 12:25 a.m.
Whoops, I missed Beast and Claim; maybe I should stop doing this in them middle of the night. :P
If enchantments are not a problem, I wouldn't worry about adding more then. But for consideration: Back to Nature is an enchantment wrath, Krosan Grip can't be countered if that is a problem, Multani's Decree is a nice hidden gem that clears all enchantments and gains you life for each (it's also half of Fracturing Gust ; also very nice but more than 4 CMC), and Qasali Pridemage is a personal favorite that acts as an Exalted trigger until you need it.

(History link is broken, so sorry if already mentioned)
Lands
If you want mana faster, I'd suggest not to include so many lands that come onto the battlefield tapped.- Your Kor Cartographer could also fetch a Mistveil Plains or a Temple Garden .
- Brushland : You'll pay only a couple of life. You have included Mana Vault so you understand a little bit of life spent is fine.
- Stirring Wildwood does more than Selesnya Guildgate or Arctic Flats .
- Sunpetal Grove
- Wooded Bastion
/ Sungrass Prairie
Artifact
Were you looking for artifact destruction or answers to artifact destruction? Aura Shards for the former. For the latter? Well, Junk Diver is another Myr Retriever that flies.
June 23, 2013 6:41 a.m.
@Psithief: Thanks for the suggestions! Here's a breakdown of what I think of them:
The lands for me aren't too high of a priority right now, for a few reasons: I'm only running two colors, which means I'll usually see a fair number of each color, and with green's search ramp, I can just tutor up the colors I'm lacking in. I would consider Mistveil Plains , Brushland , Sunpetal Grove , Sungrass Prairie , and Stirring Wildwood for the added utility.
I like Aura Shards
but I don't run enough creatures to use it effectively. The deck more often than not plays out less than 4-5 creatures in the course of a long game, relying on diplomacy/sigarda/instant removal to protect it. What do you think of Aura of Silence
instead?
Lastly, I'm not a fan of Junk Diver , more because it triggers when it dies. I'd much sooner rather run Sanctum Gargoyle in its stead.
June 23, 2013 11:20 a.m.
I'm noticing you have a lot of 'enters the battlefield' abilities on your creatures. While most creature bounce is blue, I know that Voyager Staff , Synod Sanctum and Conjurer's Closet are colourless.
Bouncing your creatures about to repeat their enter-the-battlefield abilities might be what it takes to make Aura Shards viable.
June 23, 2013 11:41 a.m.
It's a good idea, but it's way too situational for me to use reliably. The 'bounce etb' creatures theme isn't something I'm going for, though I have Galepowder Mage to do that for me (to be honest I'm considering cutting him for something more on-theme).
June 23, 2013 8:35 p.m.
Path to Exile , for sure. Stonehewer Giant would be a good idea as well
i love my sigarda deck... she's not fast, but can kick ass
