This is not your normal weenie deck. I have not filled the deck with an excess of creatures. There is a defensive option here with Celestial Flare and
Glimpse the Sun God
. Glimpse is an underrated card in my opinion. I like making decks with unique concepts and I noticed an interesting combo with
Glimpse the Sun God
. I could play it on my opponent's turn before his/her combat and tap their creatures, that is obvious. BUT... I could also tap one of my creatures to trigger heroic. Let's say I used this concept on a
Phalanx Leader
. It would bump up my other creatures. I could withhold a tap option from one of my opponent's creatures to do this and rely on the fact that my now stronger creatures would be able to block the free creature. Now, here is where it gets fun. Maybe your opponent didn't want to tap or attack with all of their creatures. You just tapped all of their stuff down and you are free, during your turn, to play more creatures or enchantments and attack them freely.
Moving on, we have a good ol' Brave the Elements for protection if needed or a win con if necessary.
Fiendslayer Paladin
..stretching assholes this ( ) big since M14 pre-release. The nigga looks like a jedi. Slap some enchantments on him and go to town. Thanks to his abilities, the likelihood that he will go away is slim.
Continuing on, Pacifism slows down the opponent and contributes to Ethereal Armor enchantment count.
Did you know there is a turn three win combo in this deck? Yeah, all you need in your opening hand is one Hopeful Eidolon, two Ethereal Armor's, and an Ajani, Caller of the Pride. T1, eidolon, T2, ethereal armors and attack, T3, play Ajani and use the -3 for the win.
I have not had a successful attempt at weenies ever. But, this deck is consistently efficient. Oh, and I lucked into a Brimaz, King of Oreskos so i figured that he would tickle many a dick in this deck, ya know, being the Pussy king and all! Let it be known, had I not pulled a Brimaz, he would not be here. He was like a child that was unexpectedly conceived and born and you choose to take him in and love him anyway. If you are looking to replicate the deck, he is not a critical piece in it but there is an occasion here and there where he does some good stuff. Like shitting out a kitten armada...
