Everyone has heard about Silverfur Partisan + Zada, Hedron Grinder by now.

Countless decks have been made around this combo already.

What i wanted to do was hone in on this combo and put it into overdrive as our main wincon.

The object of this deck is pretty much the same but with a small but impactful variant to get as many Silverfur's in play at one time.

You can actually have more than four in play at once in fact.

From there every time you play a spell on Zada it'll trigger every Silverfur to pump out as many 2/2 Wolfs as possible.

Most Silverfur + Zada decks resort to casting spells that'll target other Wolves/Werewolves one at a time for pumping out only one token at a time.

Then if they managed to get a single Zada into play they could target them all at once through Zada.

This deck doesn't sit back and wait for the combo to assemble, it goes out and assembles it!

The wants the same things but uses multiple Silverfur Partisans to target instead of other wolf/werewolves, and with each one triggering its effect due to another being in play. Thanks to Altered Ego you can have 8 copies of this card in your deck at once.

With every Silverfur triggering and every Altered Ego coming into play as an altered copy of Silverfur Partisan and also triggering your going to pump out a lot of 2/2 Wolfs.

The deck is made possible by one card.

The card Eldritch Evolution.

Sac a creature and search out another creature that's CMC is X+2 or less where X is the sac'd creatures CMC. Put it straight into play.

At first glance your thinking okay we have a nice tutor that can search out Silverfur or Zada and get them into play.

Yes, it does that. But why limit it to pulling just one creature out?

Why not pull every creature out!

The Combo

Once you have Zada, Hedron Grinder in play with a few other creatures (all cheap Wolves) your set up.

The combo is to cast Eldritch Evolution on a Zada, Hedron Grinder which copies it for each other creature you control. A few other cheap Wolf/Werewolf creatures on the board and you sac everything and search out specific creatures you want and put them all into play for FREE!

You go grab all your Silverfur Partisans and Altered Egos who come in as a copy of him, and replace your Zada sacrificed with another Zada!

Now your set up with a board full of triggerers. Cast one spell on Zada and flood the field with 2/2 Wolfs. Each Silverfur and Altered Silverfur will trigger a separate event of putting a token out for every Wolf/Werewolf that was targeted -- and they ALL were! -- so you'll get a ton out.

Zada copies any spell for each creature you control but a multiple-tutor spell is by far the most powerful spell to copy.

Why settle for one Zada when we don't settle for one Silverfur?

We run 8 copies of cards to gain the effects of Silverfur Partisan with Altered Ego helping us out in this regard.

So with Zada, Hedron Grinder as the spreader-effect why not run 8 copies of that effect too? We finally can with this new Eldritch Moon card called Mirrorwing Dragon!

A little bit more expensive but it's going to serve the same purpose and be around for a lot longer in standard than Zada.

Plus it's just better with more upside.

It's not Legendary so you can have multiples in play, even though you only truly need one in play at a time.

Also it's harder to kill. If the opponent targets it for removal it must copy that spell for each of their own creatures and target each of them. They can't Murder it because they would be Murdering all of their own board (unless they don't have any creatures).

Mirrorwing Dragon + Silverfur Partisan

Silverfur Mirrorwings?

Mirrorwinged Wolves?

You come up with what name you like best.

I'm sticking to The Wolf Pack.

Be sure to keep creatures cheap CMC so that you have some in play already to sacrifice though. That's why 2 CMC and under Wolf/Werewolves are important to this deck. Any 1 CMC can work to get Silverfur Partisan but you need to search out 4 CMC creatures too like Zada and Altered Ego so you need it to be 2 CMC for 2+2=4.

Lupine Prototype or any 2 CMC creature sacrificed can turn into Silverfur Partisan, Zada, Hedron Grinder, or Altered Ego.

Lupine is best 2 CMC Wolf because it's colorless, so no matter what lands you have it can be played early on T2.

The other 2 CMC wolf is a ramper so that helps your mana too.

I deliberately picked these two.

Once you have a board full of Silverfur Partisans and Altered Egos who are a copy of it, it's time to spread the love.

Then replace your Zada with another Zada so when you have a board full of Silverfur's and Silverfur copies you can target Zada with any instant/sorcery spell (preferably Slip Through Space or Taigam’s Strike) and swing in with all the 2/2 Wolfs and Silverfur's and Zada with UNBLOCKABLE.

Also you'll draw a bunch of cards from Expedite or Slip Through Space to replenish your entire hand when you cast it on Zada. So you'll never run out of spells to cast.

Confront the Unknown also will pump out a bunch of Clue so you can draw into more cards if you cast it on Zada you'll get 4+ clues really easily. Could almost use Whirler Rogue to make things unblockable by tapping them clues.

Basically once you Eldritch Evolution everything though your playing ever creature you need to win. You can even sac 2/2 Wolf at 0CMC to grab Lupine Prototypes and then cast the cheap spells in your hand to allow it to attack in as a 5+/5+ along with all your other creatures.

If you have 2CMC creatures out when you Eldritch off just grab all the Silverfur's Altered Ego's and a zada but if you need to grab more the Pack Guardian is a good option. If you have lands in hand it'll use them to put even more Wolf into play so you have more to target for Silverfur's effect later.

It won't be long before you overswarm them with 2/2 Wolfs.

Plus discarding lands helps Lupine Prototype to be able to attack/block by keeping your hand empty.
