Very funny. Although would that actually work? I thought commander damage had to be dealt as combat damage, rather than with abilities. Otherwise the madmen like Jarad would roll-on through everybody with one juiced up sacrifice.

Kaleanath Commander damage is just that: damage done by the commander. That's why direct-damage commanders like Borborygmos and Jarad are so awesome.

Unfortunately you're mistaken, the 21 damage rule only applies to COMBAT damage specifically:
- If a player has been dealt 21 points of combat damage by a particular Commander during the game, that player loses a game.

DancinSasquatch I still think this would be a fun deck to play, just for the wtf factor.

This doesn't actually work, for the same reason that Six-Card Ad Nauseum doesn't work, but 99-card Land-Go is amusing. The issue is that you are immediately dog piled the turn you cast Bobo, and you have no way to capitalize on having a deck that is predominantly lands.
Can't upvote it, but it's cute.

chipotle69 mate you're not kidding. I've had EDH games at my LGS last for over three hours. and that's without people deliberately dragging them out. I had one game where I lost because I actually fucking decked myself out. that's how long it lasted.

Sorry too say this but your wrong... but you are really close
heres you step by step to make it cheaper
Step 1 take away Borborygmos Enraged
hes to expensive mana and dollar wise
Step 2 replace all mountains with forests
Step 3 add one cheap little Budoka Gardener

@ evilclown5609 Borborygmos Enraged is pretty cheap dollar wise costing only a around a dollar & Budoka Gardener is not a legal EDH Commander because in its default state it is not a legendary creature.

I laughed when I looked at the managraph, and there was no outer ring, because there isn't any spells.
Strictly speaking, you couldn't go wrong with a Life from the Loam , but that's against theme.
I also like how the average for this deck is somehow 11 dollars, and the high 50.
IT'S A BUNCH OF BASIC LANDS AND A DOLLAR RARE!

Wike900 it actually went up since you commented. the mid-range is 12 dollars and the high is 62.

Fantastic. Even better.
Well it's 25 now. Whoever the hell was selling lands for as much as most rares...
A basic averages 10cents apparently.

It's definitively a funny deck idea. I feel like Ashling the Pilgrim at $0.50 is a tad cheaper :P

Hilarious Idea. However wouldn't quite work as well as you thought:

Gefey yeah I know. I still think it's a fun deck concept. I'm mostly using this til I finish building my actual EDH deck with Jarad as the commander. it's on TappedOut too if you want to take a look at it: F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu, Starring Jarad

WTF!!?!?!?!?I might actually try and build this just because edh is so slow.

You can still dump your hand, clear someone's board, and attack them for 7, and get 3 lands every time you connect. :) then you can use those to threaten anyone who dares to attack you.

KingSorin yeah that's one of the strategies. this deck's ideal situation is in 1v1 matches but it might be able to hold its own in multiplayer games.
September 19, 2013 6:27 p.m.
In 1v1 they may actually be able to kill you in 7 turns, so I'd stick to multiplayer.
September 19, 2013 6:29 p.m.
canterlotguardian says... #24
but in multiplayer there could be upwards of six people able to kill me in 3 turns. the more threat I seem and the more players there are, the quicker I die. plus with 1v1, there's less of a chance that players are running counterspells than there is in multiplayer. and counterspell players are the bane of this deck's existence, due to literally nothing in the deck to answer it besides just waiting two turns (or one, if Rites of Flourishing is the emblem for the game) and trying to cast him again.
