Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm them with many small sufferings.
Early on use discard spells and smallpox to disrupt their board state. Our deck runs on very, very little (2 land, 3 absolute max) so don't feel bad about dropping turn 2 Smallpox. You will see this card every single game so be sure to use it when it will wreak the most havoc.
This is definitely sometimes a high-risk strategy but it is a lot of fun to play and it works a lot more often than you'd think. Don't be afraid to take the draw instead of the play if you get to go first. Extra cards are always helpful here.
Mishra's Factory can double as Swamps thanks to Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and help whittle down the opponent or in the case of aggro potentially keep you alive.
Raven's Crime is a powerful discard recursion engine that can help ensure hands stay empty, we really like to play this as early as possible. Drawing into lands you don't really need doesn't feel so bad. A singleton copy of Collective Brutality because it is quite easy to escalate it and add insult to injury by gaining life and burning them for 2 on top of making them dump an instant or sorcery. It is also an easy target to board out but it shouldn't ever be a dead card in hand.
Use Liliana of the Veil as often as possible without any drawbacks - just be sure to activate man-lands AFTERWARDS if you're using her minus 2.
Whispers of Emrakul is relatively new in the deck. It does cost 2, and it only gets you a guarantee of 1 card - however - this is at random and can therefore remove any card in their hand which is quite potent. Also, in my testing so far it has been pretty straightforward to get Delerium online.
Sideboard uses non-targeting Delirium Skeins and Feed the Swarm to get around leylines. Alms of the Vein can synergize well with Liliana to help you recover some health against mirrors or burn when you utilize its madness cost for Lili's plus 1.
The sideboard of this deck is more or less completely open to edits depending upon what you find yourself up against.
