Dude. You HAVE to run 4x Ethereal Armor . It's stupidly amazing. I would probably drop 2x Satyr (already got mana dorks) and 2x Spear (minimal effect). Hexproof typically runs about 12 creatures - pre-rotation, bant hexproof ran 4x each of Geist of Saint Traft , Gladecover Scout and Invisible Stalker .

I like the idea of Lawmage but it's quite costly, and I would probably drop it. If you can pick up Boon Satyr , is ability to flash in when you need vs sac effects as well as a neat combat trick is really good, especially because it can be used as a backup aura target if you need.

Obviously, if you can pick up Voice, it would be good, since it helps you skirt around sac effects twice with one card.

AEtherling seems a bit redundant and doesn't really fit into the shell you've got. I would probably drop it as well.

Hey Alchemix thanks for the advice! I dropped Spear of Heliod and moved AEtherling to the sideboard.

I'm still kind of attached to Ascended Lawmage but I may remove it after some play testing. If/when I do remove them, I'll probably add in more enchantments like Ethereal Armor or Ordeal of Thassa or 2x more Gladecover Scout

IMO, drop Ordeal of Thassa for Ethereal Armor . The armor has an immediate impact, typically upwards of 4 power/toughness, PLUS first strike.

I mostly play casual, so I kept Ordeal of Thassa - if I take this to game day or FNM, I'll probably remove them for 2x Azorius Charm and 2x Essence Scatter .

I would suggest some counterspells for Devour Flesh, and some Rootborn Defenses for Supreme Verdict.

I would drop 2- Ordeal of Thassa and add 2+ Daxos of Meletis
