Deck Strategy

Wincons

The deck uses alternate wincons than a normal Turbo/Fog deck, just to make it more fun.

• Helix Pinnacle + Grim Monolith + Power Artifact
• Helix Pinnacle + Maze of Ith + Argothian Elder + Forest

These are your Helix Pinnacle combos. Helix Pinnacle can also be used with Doubling Season, Doubling Cube, Mirari's Wake or Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger in case you don't have any of the other combo pieces.

• Felidar Sovereign (+ Resolute Archangel)

Felidar Sovereign and Resolute Archangel can be fetched with Tooth and Nail or Defense of the Heart and require your health to be at 40 or up.Cards that get your life points up there are Resolute Archangel, Beacon of Immortality and Sphinx's Revelation

• Luminarch Ascension

Slapping them with angels is a valid wincon as well.

Putting up your defenses

To give you time to grab your combo pieces, you will need some defenses. The deck is packed with stuff that will make it hard for your opponent to kill you.

Pro-active cards

• Angus Mackenzie

He's your go to defense if things get touch. Keep in mind though that due to the amount of boardwipes in the deck, that he will end up costing a significant amount more mana later in the game.

• Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Humility and Maze of Ith

For counteracting creature based strategies.

• Leyline of Sanctity

For when you're up against burn or any other strategies that target you to win.Omnath, Locus of Rage for example.

• Academy Rector

Though it might not seems like a defensive card, people will be less likely to attack you when this card is out. When they do however, you tutor Humility or any other of the enchantments listed in this paragraph.

• Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger

This card can also be used defensively as it delays your opponent by not having them untap their land for a turn.

• Stasis

For when you need a nice way to say F*ck you.

Protecting you wincon

The deck contains a lot of enchantments and artifacts that help u win the game. We need a way to protect these against removal.There are a few cards that do this by giving psuedo hexproof/shroud.

We also have Indestructibility, which allows us to protect one permanent against removal.

Tutoring

It's hard to find all your combo pieces in a 100 card singleton deck. That's why we have tutors, and we have quite alot.

This card is very good, as it puts the permanent directly on the battlefield, sadly it is not an instant. To counter-act this, you can always run Quicken.
