So this advice on the maindeck I really dont like dead weight I dont think its worth playing a bad card to play slaughter I think you are better off playing some evolving wilds to get a land in the graveyard. 4 anguish unmaking is a lot the lifeloss is relevant and you do not have a lot of life gain I could cut it to 2 and play some ruinous path or something. I also do not like 8 maindeck discard spells these will be dead A LOT and I do not think its worth it main deck 1 (probably transgress) and put the rest in your sideboard if you want. Thats what I got goodluck

EmblemMan This deck is inspired off of Argeaux's B/W Deck; and that deck is very solid. Enchantments are tough to get into the graveyard; this helps that and it acts as removal. I don't use Dead Weight as a debuff; but as removal. In all my playtests so far; I've found having both Duress and Transgress to be a real drag on my opponent's tempo; and really mitigates their threat if you know what their next play or reaction is going to be
Censuring Because I don't have any in my collection; otherwise I would sideboard it.

Dead weight is not a removal spell it doesnt kill anything except for the 2/1s in mono white humans and thats only SOMETIMES you can play it if you want but I am 100% sure you will be happier with something better. Also this is a control deck not a tempo deck and you can play 4 main deck discard spells if you want but they are going to be horrible top decks and they dont do anything when you are trying to grind out your opponent.

True point, but the one thing I get is a peek at their hand; and refreshing my intel on his hand is always good

I have found Dead Weight to be amazing as, as far as I know, it is the only 1 drop in that can completely remove an early Creature.
IMO it isn't wasted later on. It's beautiful at turning a threat into a mouse.
I've only regretted having so much hand disruption once, and that was an unusual case of my partner continually top decking lands.
I like the look of this deck. Haven't found time to playtest yet but hoping to soon.

Argeaux This deck got WRECKED at the SCG event I attended (1-4)
It didn't have enough sweepers to deal with mass creatures; and I encountered ALOT of creature decks. I bet if I had Avaycn it would have made a difference, but I didn't get them in time

Yeah as you discovered, Archangel Avacyn Flip is essential.
The best play with her is to Flash her in as a blocker on your Opponent's combat phase when you also have Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet on the field, and hopefully kill an Opponent Creature because yours are now Indestructible.
That nets you a 2/2 Zombie Token.
You pay and sac the Token to make your Kalitas a 5/6.
Due to a non-angel Creature dying, your angel flips into Avacyn, the Purifier Flip on your turn, wiping a lot of Opponent Creatures, but keeping your angel and Kalitas safe.

The key is getting Kalitas down. D
I'm wondering if this deck is weighed down because of the Eldrazi in it and the need for . I'm wondering if I really do need 4 Crossroads as there are more useful lands for colorless spells (Mage-Ring Network or Blighted Fen as examples)
Avacyn is coming; but she is not expected to get here before Gameday.

The extra life drain of Corrupted Crossroads is probably a bit much.
I do rely heavily on 4 of Shambling Vent to offset the other life loss in the deck.
For a while I experimented with 2 Blighted Fen instead of my 2 Westvale Abbey Flip and they were REALLY useful. I only ended up going with the Abbey for matches where my Opponent had a lot of Creature removal.

The life drain only happens if I cast a spell that has devoid; and Transgress is the only Devoid spell I have.

If you find that lifeloss is an issue you can trade out the smasher for Linvala, the Preserver and she brings along a friend most the time as well

So Aaron, should I cut down on the number of Crossroads for swamps?

You have waaaaaay to much hand hate. Either transgress or Duress not both. Also Languish is the best boardwipe should have more. it also kills like all of your creatures except 2.

I understand if you don't change it, but I think 4 Anguished Unmaking is way too much. Maybe put declaration in stone or stasis snare in as a 2/2 split with AU?
April 29, 2016 12:41 a.m.
The 4 copies of Anguished Unmaking are fine with so much Lifelink, IMO.

Hazstig93 Yeah; Avacyn didn't come cheap (alot more for me because I'm Canadian).
I got to change it because I scored 2 more Vents to get my 4

Shambling Vent has been essential for me to win matches against Control.

I'd swap out a number (2 most likely) of Dead Weights for some Ultimate Prices in case the humans get a little too big after resolving an Always Watching . Price also kills Sylvan Advocate, which Weight does not. It also doesn't seem like you're able to flip Westvale Abbey Flip very often. Are some of the cards that you're waiting on Secure the Wastes or Gideon, Ally of Zendikar? I'd also replace the To the Slaughters with Ruinous Path just so you're able to choose which threat you want to destroy. Shaving off the last 2 Dead Weights and replacing them with Read the Bones could also put you ahead early in the game when you need to hit lands or later in the game when you need to find threats. It's a great card. I run a similar deck but I splash green for Sylvan Advocates and powered-up creature-lands. Take a look if you'd like- Junkzaban Tournament-buster

Really interesting deck! +1 from me :)
I do agree with GeminiSpartanX and think that Westvale Abbey Flip seems like it's going to be hard to flip until much later game. secure the waste or Gideon, Ally of Zendikar could definitely help you get some bodies on the board to feed him. If you enjoy hitting opponents hand, Witness the End is fun. You may also want to look at Essence Depleter since you have 9 lands with colorless mana, he may be interesting in here. You could also use Unnatural Endurance for some cheap protection and buff.

Gideon over Nixilis all day long, Gideon is a huge threat to deal damage or drop tokens if you need and extra blocker or 2

MagicMike77 I'd love to score Gideon, but I don't have him; or I would've added him to my deck. He is on my to get list

Why no Declaration in Stone?
