I like the looks of this, and I LOVE the Undying mechanic. My only suggestion would be -2x Rage Thrower s and +2 Hellrider s. They cost less to play, and I find they are ultimately more helpful. +1!
I also made an Undying deck a few weeks ago, but it's black and green. Check it out if you like! The Kill-Twice Army

"Ground Seal is to protect everything that goes to the graveyard from Nihil Spellbomb and other graveyard hate."
This doesn't work as Ground Seal protects cards in your graveyard and Nihil Spellbomb targets players. You would need a different tactic to stop the Spellbomb.
"Hellrider is amazing with something that hasn't "died' becuase you can swing with it and deal it damage and die all its wants."
Did you mean this to say that you can attack with a creature and use the effect to kill the creature? If so, again this doesn't work. Hellrider does it's bonus damage only to "defending player."
As far as advice, I would say ditch the Pyreheart Wolf s. I know you like them but it looks like you want to be doing most of your damage through Hellrider , Flayer of the Hatebound , and Rage Thrower . Which means that you want your opponent to be killing your creatures and the Wolfs will make that harder to do. Also these 3 guys are pretty costly so I would raise the number of mana dorks to get them on the board faster. Remember, even a Birds of Paradise does damage when attacking with a Hellrider on the board. And if they want to block and kill them they will pay for it from Rage Thrower (Which you should add more of). You might also want to add card:Druids' Repository as you seem to want to be doing a lot of attacking and it will help you toss threats faster or give you more mana for Silklash and Bonfire. I also wouldn't worry about the Rancor s and Kessig Wolf Run s as you don't ever need to really connect with your creatures to do damage.

Hope any of that was useful. I like the concept though. I am now thinking about trying to build my own version of it. +1

Ok, this is what I have come up with so far. I only went with the Rage Thrower and Hellrider aspects and dropped the undying and Flayer parts. Raging Hellrider

@Cirdan13 Thanks a lot for the info it gave me a lot to think about. The only problem with relying on Flayer of the Hatebound is that it is a 6 drop. And it is manly for when i need those last couple points to win.
About the Ground Seal and Nihil Spellbomb I honestly did know that it just slipped my mind. Sorry
As for the card:Druids' Repository I very much like the idea especially with Bonfire of the Damned (such a broken card) What to take out tho.
Pyreheart Wolf is amazing. (In my opinion) I have won so many games with it that it's here to stay.
Rancor is great early game and with the aspect of undying once it's put into my graveyard it just returns back to my hand. And putting on Birds of Paradise multiple times can help get points in.
As for more mana dorks I was testing out taking some to put in Young Wolf And somehow I keep drawing mana anyways. (It's a blessing and a curse late game)
Kessig Wolf Run should be in any R/G aggro. With Pyreheart Wolf you can pump up creatures that they couldn't block and this can kill very easily.

@Jarrod_0067 The reason it isn't in there is I can seem to trade for any as they are in their own decks and can't pull one out packs. Otherwise it would be in there.

Ooze Flux remove the +1/+1 counters and reuse your undying

FIrst order of business is to update your deck so that the 35 comments before me go into a link and only recent one's are shown.
Second, take out Young Wolf and add in Pyreheart Wolf . It still has that undying and it has the added ability that your opponent has to use two creatures to block one creature which makes your Kessig Wolf Run that more powerful.

As much as i LOVE Pyreheart Wolf i dont think going a full 4 of them is necessary. Maybe go half and half. But let me throw this idea out there. Instead of Young Wolf , Rakdos Cackler . It can serve as another 4/2 with trample on turn more consistantly. (the other option is arbor elf turn 1 and then strangleroot geist with rancor) What do you think? I will definitly play test with 2 and 2
February 20, 2013 10:12 p.m.
Ya I prob shudn't have said 4. Really as long as it isn't 1 then it will be a good fit in you deck. I won a game because my opponent forgot that it had undying and I couldn't help but laugh. You should probably get rid of Cackler altogether because the point of undying ( I think) is to block then bounce and return harder/stronger to go for the kill!
You can prob take out a kessig because you have 4 Rancors. Take out one Bonfire because you don't want to be drawing Bonfire and then you can throw in your two pyrehearts.

It's a small point, but I think you might want to go with Elvish Mystic over Arbor Elf, simply because there's the chance that you won't have a Forest on the field. You could have cast the dork with Rootbound Crag, and have nothing to untap.

Great Deck! Looks like it would be fun to play. My question is, how has it done at FNM if taken to such an event, or is it casual only?

Some sort of enchantment removal could be nice, just one Back to Nature. Also Lightning Bolt could be put in, or at least put in sideboard instead of Pillar of Flame. Xenagos, the Reveler would also be good. If you could afford it, Tarmogoyf would probably be awesome as well.

I agree with AndWelcomeToTheJam but I think you should split Arbor Elf and Elvish Mystic 2/2 and then replace some basic land with Cinder Glade so you have more dual lands that you could untap with your Arbor Elves. Maybe even splurge on a couple Wooded Foothills so you can fetch into the dual lands.

If you are running Arbor Elf you should run it with Utopia Sprawl. It can give you 4 Mana turn 2.
Turn 1: forest + arbor elfTurn 2: forest + Utopia onto an untapped forest, tap enchanted Forest, untapped it with arbor elf, tap it again.

Warstorm Surge is kind of like an enchantment version of Flayer of the Hatebound!
September 23, 2017 12:27 p.m.
I don't Know VaultSkirge, I'd rather have undying. Also Flayer of the Hatebound also does itself TWICE if you do it right.
October 16, 2018 8:19 p.m.
Why is Arbor Elf used as a mana dork instead of one that actually produces mana (ie. Llanowar Elves)? You aren't running Utopia Sprawl or any land enchantment and your manabase is far from all Forests..... I'm trying to make sense of it... All I can think of it that maybe you misread it and thought it untapped any land (like Voyaging Satyr but for 1 less mana :)? Am I missing something?

I would say Utopia Sprawl like the other comment up there. Aspect of Hydra , Bloodbraid Elf , Kitchen Finks , Eternal Witness , Experiment One , Pelt Collector , Steel Leaf Champion , anything lofty.. Ruric Thar, the Unbowed
I’ve seen a rude deck based on Pongify before (undying/evolve, target own creatures)

Try this:
Bolrac-Clan Crusher and Strangleroot Geist .
Make sure to kill Strangleroot Geist after this.

I wonder if Birthing Pod isn't a valid addition, It works so well with the undying mechanic!
