THESE ARE MANPIRES
I actually really like this deck for its consistently cruel playstyle. Generally every card works in some way with every other card, so the fun becomes figuring out exactly when to spring your next manly vampire trap on some poor unsuspecting victim while "Thriller" plays in the background.
The general idea is to have all of your guys eat each other, and then all your guys eat your opponents. Or one big guy eats all your opponents. It doesn't really matter.
Sac engines like Viscera Seer, or more importantly, Bloodthrone Vampire are important to get out quickly, and it's especially nice with Blade of the Bloodchief. Pawn of Ulamog makes every sac generate additional sac's (or blockers I guess) and generate mana to pump up your things to even manlier proportions. Bloodghast is the gift that keeps on giving, and can be used to keep this cycle going and going for huge buildups in a very short amount of time. Blood Artist is duh. It's not like he does anything else but sit around and make people really mad. And it's a pretty common thing that you can totally suck your opponent dry by having all your guys just eat each other all day. It's like a vampire orgy, really.
The big hitters here are obviously Vampire Nocturnus and Bloodline Keeper
, who supply additional steroid boosted vampires that also happen to fly. Vampire Nighthawk is there because he's too good not to be. Give him a blade of the bloodchief and a Sword of Vengeance and if your opponent doesn't have removal, it's GG.
suggestions would be great, if you can input and give ways to make this even faster and more effective, I'd love to hear about it.
The problem with this deck at the moment is that it runs out of gas after the initial punch. Granted the initial punch is designed to either kill your opponent in 4-5 turns or be in a position to win around that time, so most times you play your whole hand in that period and run out of things to sac.
