I'd say you could almost add Repay in Kind , except I don't know if it'd be too useful, or whether games for this deck generally last long enough to play it.

lol yea deck could never cast it. 7 mana is insane for 20 lands. it's really not needed anyway, deck is already good at killing itself.

Hahaha I figured that it might be a bit high, especially since your highest CMC is 3. Well, that was the only thing I could think of, other than that I think the deck looks great. If burn spells are getting you, you could always try a Witchbane Orb , even if it was just sideboarded.

Yep, replaced the Torpor Orb with Witchbane Orb since I took Hunted Horror out.

Just throwing your suggestion back at you, fetchlands would be beneficial. Thin out your deck and -1 life for each one.

I think fetches are a great idea. I'll play around with them a bit.

Minion of the Wastes and Death's Shadow are best friends. Also some Dark Ritual are a pretty casual card and nice in low converted mama cost decks.

I like those suggestions but I want to keep it modern legal even though it's only a casual deck.

its better than totem, and its a 5/5 with trample and if they block they sac permanents.

play test the deck, u'll see that no matter how great of card Phyrexian Obliterator is, he is just not the right card for this deck, way too slow and a total kill more card. Not to mention fairly damn hard to cast off 20 lands.

+1, very nice as well. I've had some luck with Phyrexian Unlife and Spoils of the Vault in a semi-suicide deck Desper if you're interested. Still playing with it, but it's been fun so far.

Replace Dark Confidant with Pain Seer .

I don't think there is a good replacement for AEther Vial as it's pretty crucial to giving the deck enough speed to win.

I would add in some Inquisition of Kozilek in it's place... or Dismember maybe..

Leyline of the Void maybe in the side, or Vampire Lacerator or Sangrophage in the main? Looks fun.

What do you think of Ritual of the Returned ? Play Death's Shadow within the first 3 turns, let him go to graveyard, then cast ritual and get a 13/13 Zombie onto the battlefield. Bad idea?
