Good, wanted to make sure since the only one NOT legal was Crux of Fate but is this a reconstructed deck or something completely from scratch?

I just had the idea when the dragon was spoiled and built it that evening. I found most of the cards on gatherer looking for card ideas.

you may want to add a dragon by the name of "kilnmouth dragon"

I did consider Kilnmouth Dragon in the initial drafting of the deck, but I found the cost for his ability to work actually two hard to activate. As the goal of the deck is to cheat in dragons with Dragonstorm of just make lots of fast manna with ritual spells, manna rocks, and land sacrificing to just play 3 or 4 dragons a turn. I also like to get rid of dragons in my hand when discarding because Bladewing the Risen and Patriarch's Bidding can recur them. I may change my mind some day but there are other dragons on the wait list to get in to this deck that I think are better in a Vacuum, I will add him to the maybe board though.

How consistent is your storm? How many copies can you get o a regular basis?

January 8, 2015 5:34 p.m.

The_Hunter says... #10

I can consistently get 3 to 4 dragons in to play with no effort and 7 to 8 dragons in to play if I take a few turns to set up the storm. Around turn 6 or 7 is the sweet spot. If I don't storm I just play dragons. I can also get a storm count of around 7 or 8 very easily if I just use the other storm cards Tendrils of Agony and Ignite Memories. Ignite is sometimes the best, I have stormed it for 14 before and killed the other two players in my three player game, the chance to wif is real but the random is fun.

Belbe's Portal and Quicksilver Amulet because who doesn't want to play dragons for cheap at instant speed?

I just playtested this, and let me just say, turn 12 200 damage. HUGE +1 from me.

Want a quick way to clear out some opponent's creatures, I'd suggest adding Burning Anger, use it on Balefire Dragon, or put it on Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon for some quick poisoning

Furyborn Hellkite is probably my favorite dragon, and with In the Web of War and any direct damage, it hits for 14 immediately.

Also, playing Flamekin Village could be devastating for opponents.

I don't really think Burning Anger is a card I should play. Paying 5 mana for an aura that tapps one of my creatures to functionally just attack is not that good, for it to be a board wipe I need to find Balefire Dragon and Burning Anger this would also lower the dragon attack count for Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury. The poison damage is also not that great it would take 3 turns to kill a player when a dragon alpha strike would kill everyone Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon would be strong enough to kill a player on his own. The card would probably be a lot better if it was just an enchantment that I could use to tapp creatures and do damage but it isn't it's an aura wich significantly easyer to destroy, so if I played it and the dragon got hit with a removal spell I just paid 10 or 11 mana and wasted 2 turns for nothing.

I was probably going to add Flamekin Village I haven't yet because Hall of the Bandit Lord is functionally the same card but better in my opinion because it doesn't require me to pay 2 extra mana for my dragon just life, wich you have a lot of in commander.

February 8, 2015 12:43 p.m.

I would seriously suggest Leyline of Punishment as you are not gaining any life with this deck, but rather losing quite a bit.

Did you see the new spoiled dragon enchantment card? That would wreck face SOOOOO BAAAAD in here. To give you an idea:

When a creature enters the battlefield under your control, it gains haste (or something like that).

Whenever a dragon enters the battlefield under your control, you may deal X damage to target creature or player, where X is the number of dragons you control.

I mean, holy sh** son.

I know I am so exited they also printing a smaller Dragonspeaker Shaman and a dragon search card Sarkhan's Triumph I need to go deep in the tank to add new dragons from this set and improve the list. Thunderbreak Regent is first. The new dragon decks being made or improved now got so much help in all colors.

Dragonlord's Servant from dragons of tarkir could be a great addition upon its release.
