I HAVE DISSOLVED THIS DECK. I'M CURRENTLY BUILDING Dimir Devotion Deluxe. THIS DECK WILL BE MISSED.

This is a Bant Sliver deck. Slivers are there for their collective might, while my protection and counter spells sit tight. 1+'s and suggestions are welcomed with open arms followed by song and cheer.

On perfect conditions, the deck should run like this (UPDATED):

  • Turn One: I lay down a land that produces blue mana and drop a Galerider Sliver .

  • Turn Two: I proceed to play a Manaweft Sliver . My galerider can now produce mana of any color. If I have Gods Willing, then the wisest move would be to wait. Otherwise, I attack with Galerider.

  • Turn Three: I cast either a Predatory Sliver or a Sentinel Sliver and conserve mana for a Syncopate or Dissolve. Otherwise, I play Prophet of Kruphix and hope that my opponent doesn't answer. If he doesn't then my chances of victory are greatly increased, because I can answer my opponent's spells with ease, lay down creatures on his turn... or both.

If it doesn't go like that, then it should run fairly consistent as a tribal/control.

Some noticeable tricks are done with Manaweft Sliver , Ready / Willing , Prophet of Kruphix and Sphinx's Revelation.

  • Ready / Willing can be paid with my slivers for free with Manaweft Sliver , and since it makes my slivers produce any color of mana, I can cast the Willing half and wipe my opponent's side of the field while I regain HP on his/her turn. After defending with said technique, I can either respond to my opponent's spells or cast Sphinx's Revelation.

  • Let's assume I already have Prophet of Kruphix on the field. I use a Sphinx's Revelation on my turn and keep cards that have the best momentary use and dump the rest on the graveyard (pointing out that I already had the prophet in play, I probably get to keep most of the cards). I untap everything on my opponent's untap step, and by doing so, I'm able to play according to my opponent's actions on his turn with more effectiveness.
