That's not the idea of the deck, but I did put Galerider Sliver Sliver under consideration and might just end up on the main board. Thanks, I guess...

You might want to switch out the 4th Manaweft Sliver for a 4th Predatory Sliver . Having multiples of Manaweft doesn't help nearly as much as multiple Predatories would.

Have you considered Birds of Paradise over the Elvish Mystic ?

Gee man, I would really love too, but they haven't been reprinted in standard. It would have been mighty helpful since I run 2 Blur Sliver and could also be handy for eventual modifications. Thanks anyway.

Nice, get more Mutavault in place of Detention Sphere

Have you considered Ready / Willing ? I find it works really well.
Would like some feedback on my deck Games day Slivers (please Comment) if you have any suggestions. It's not post rotation yet as using for the games day :)

I agree that Ready / Willing would be a good addition perhaps in place of Rootborn Defenses it does more for only a tiny bit of specific mana but at the same price. I'm not sure if running a black mana source would be worth it though for the Willing half but yeah Ready a good half card if you have green and white

Yeah, Ready / Willing is in my maybeboard. My huge, huge maybeboard. I did put it under heavy consideration and still am. Thanks for the support though. I really appreciate it.

I might say pull the Plasm Capture since it cost 4 to use. yeah It'll counter something and you'll have a bit of mana for your next precombat but with what your running the only thing it would be good for is to play at least 2 charms or to rev with before you get any value out of it. It just doesn't feel like you have enough bang for the buck it cost

Fair enough. I could use it faster with the help of my mana rampers, but I'm all ears to suggestions. Is there anything in particular that you might suggest to swap for it, Motch4 ? Also, I'm probably going to add Savage Summoning to my sideboard once I get my hands on it.

one thing you may not have thought of, but Ready / Willing can actually ramp you into a huge Sphinx's Revelation untapping all the slivers and tapping again.

You have a mighty good point there, reconaissance! I was mostly concerned about protecting them at the moment and totally ignored that useful detail. I'll totally replace my Rootborn Defenses with Ready / Willing . I thank ye.

I would exchange the Plasm Capture for Dispel or Cancel depending on which you think would work better.
I agree Savage Summoning is a nice card but what are you planning on making use of it for? Also I might consider adding Selesnya Charm since you already have the mana color and it would act as a bit of removal since it looks kinda like your running the deck a bit like a control. Also I think another Manaweft Sliver . I'm not sure how I feel about the Elvish Mystic though they don't really sync well. I'd suggest Farseek until the rotate then fall back on something that is either in Theros, Lay of the Land or Seek the Horizon . I know they're shitty alternates but they're more stable than a creature. The Farseek will let you get any dual land you have in the deck though which should be really helpful. I'd pick up more Mutavault in exchange for your pair of Garruk, Caller of Beasts or you could drop lands and lastly I'd throw in at least a pair Supreme Verdict or Planar Cleansing depending on what you feel.
Sorry I'm afraid my little bitty up above is a touch scatterbrained but I think that it would be some of the things I suggested might be helpful.

Sorry forgot to include I think that you should reconsider the Sentinel Sliver the Vigilance could be invaluable.

Motch4 I'm not too sure about the first comment, but I still have Sentinel Sliver on my maybeboard and might use it after I conduct further testing on the deck. Also about the Elvish Mystic , I think that he is mighty useful, since at the beginning of the game he gives me an overwhelming advantage regarding my second and third turn (unless, of course, my opponent casts a Shock or any of the cards capable of destroying it that are on the pinnacle of rotation.
August 8, 2013 3:08 p.m.
Yeah sorry I'm not sure where my head was for most of that bitty going on there...
Alrigth let me try again. I would say maybe add Godless Shrine for Willing and maybe try to get more Mutavault
Because Plasm Capture cost 4 it might be worth your time to put just a more direct counter like Dispel , Cancel , or Disperse .
I was saying that Farseek to get an actual land would be a stronger and in the long run faster option than the Elvish Mystic is all. But the rotation will make you drop Farseek in exchange for a different land grab or something.
Hope that was a better, more concise explanation of what I thought.

Yeah, I've believe someone someone suggested me about getting spells that woill fetch me lands, instead of mana rampers. Right now I don't intend on doing so, but I would take it under consideration since it DOES bring me mana more solidly.
No need for Godless Shrine , I can pay the other half of Ready / Willing with Manaweft Sliver . Also, the Willing half is more like an opportunity/emergency spell.
Plasm Capture is indeed expensive and requires specific mana, but I can think of some good uses for it. I might change for some other solid counter spell later on, though.
I am intend to add one more Mutavault , but just one. Three or more of these can be a surprisingly heavy burden since they DO require one mana to activate...
Thanks for your sharing these thoughts. I really appreciate any help attempt.

I would suggest, since your primary goal of your spells is to offer protection for your creatures, that you add Mizzium Skin to your deck. It's an additional spell that could either save one creature, or all of them, and gives the added bonus of a minute toughness boost.

wow ... I am amazed how many people are making sliver decks with out red mana... Kessig Wolf Run and Boros Charm work so well with sliver..... nice deck here though... would this deck work with Quicken ?... if nothing else, a cheap draw card....

sorry my bad, thought i had seen at least Hive Stirrings in there (sorcery) ... still a nice deck.

I do have some ideas with Quicken , but I'm not doing any mayor changes until Theros comes out. Still, it's a good card to point out. Thanks for the compliment and the feedback, they're highly appreciated.

You need Sentinel Sliver , Manaweft Sliver + Sentinel Sliver allows you to attack and still have crazy EOT fun. I'd fit Plasm Capture in maindeck and maybe push Detention Sphere to sideboard since with your charms and pure power there shouldn't be too much to worry about and spending a turn casting Detention Sphere just slows you down. One Syphon Sliver might be worth splashing 1-2 black shocklands with Manaweft Sliver and Plasm Capture being your main way to cast since it's just so good. Check out my brew Populate and Control.

I took your advice and added two Sentinel Sliver , ZToups. I was thinking about adding it, but I didn't know what to swap at the moment. I don't know about changing Detention Sphere , since it has helped me with lost of pesky cards like Voice of Resurgence and what not. Though, I thoroughly swap it with my sideboard Plasm Capture or Render Silent depending on my opponent during the second and/or third round. I'd rather stick to my colors just to play it safe, although Syphon Sliver is a mighty good suggestion.
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

you're going to find that you don't draw slivers when you need to because of all the other spells. they only work in high numbers and with Thorncaster Sliver and Striking Sliver . And with green/red in the same deck, you can run Kessig Wolf Run to give your doublestriking megantic sliver trample. Not to mention you have blue in your sliver deck without running Galerider Sliver lol. I have a Standard Sliver deck that am running in FNM 7/19/13. Take a look. Naya colors only
