i think that 4xSoul Warden and 4xSoul's Attendant is a bit excessive, just think how many of them you do want in your starting hand/on the battlefield, having 1 is nice, 2 is good, 3 is already a waste IMO....

i would go -4Soul Warden +4Lightning Bolt

Hehe, I need to get to 30 life somehow :P It's not called Soul Sisters for nothing Both sets are staying till further notice :P -- I suppose it does, but I only need 1 red for Norin and the Helix/Charm. I'll test it and see. Thanks for the advice. Anything for sideboard?

I'm not sure about the sideboard but if you want you can check out a side board I have for a white weenie equipment deck swords are sharp and scary. That's why I use them.

also, there is a hub for soul sisters.

Leyden says... #6

Are you sure about the hub? I went through all the hubs just before the update and there wasn't anything. -- There's quite a bit that I could use from your sideboard. Once I get a chance I'll sit down and finish one up. Thanks again

I would add Spirit Mantle to avoid chump blocks maybe a Holy Mantle but its cost is a little high for a weenie. Also definitely add Brave the Elements to protect your champ/angel from removal/ get that last bit of damage through, or protect your sisters so you can actually block, and stay above 30 life. Also Student of Warfare works awesome. I would probably drop Norin the Wary to 2 since you can only have 1 legendary out, and you could tutor it with your ranger if need be

Sideboard: Rest in Peace, Smash to Smithereens, Leyline of Sanctity, etc

Thanks for the Sideboard advice Vish! :D morphranos I think I'll be keeping Norin at 3 at least for the moment. He's best used 2nd or 3rd turn, and by the time I can Tutor him with Ranger of Eos there's so much going on that he wouldn't be my first pick. I agree that Brave the Elements would be great, and because of that it's going into the sideboard. Depending on how it plays I could see myself mainboarding it :D

Hey there, I've seen the deck go by a few times and I decided 'Hey, I'm not using this token. How about I feature this awesome deck using Norin the Wary !'

And thats how we got to be here. haha

Yay! Thank you so much!!! Glad you noticed then deck, and I hope you liked it :D Also thanks a lot for the +1 I'm guessing was from you P

It was indeed me. haha Yeah, I just quite like that you've taken a card (Norin) that most people would discard as useless and made him into a prime player in a cool deck. Hopefully the feature will grab you some extra views/upvotes!

Too be honest it was in the original build :P If I remember correct it was D3fied that suggested it :) After a bunch of changes it turned out to be absolutely amazing :D

Maybe...

-1x Soul Warden , -1x Soul's Attendant

For..

+2x Lightning Bolt

? It already a great build. Thats just a way to squeeze them in if you want them.

Have you considered a couple Archangel of Thune ? It creates a nice balance between the sisters and the Champion of the Parish beatdown.

If you're looking for something to cut, I've found in my Soul Sisters build that Mentor of the Meek is awesome, but you never need more than one at a time. It is a removal magnet though, and better it than your champions...

I'd maybe trim 1 Mentor and 1 Serra Ascendant for two Archangels. I've found with two sisters out you drop an Archangel and that can be game. You wouldn't need any more than 2 because the deck functions well, but it can be that late game closer that pushes you over the edge.

Hmm, I have a lot of removal so the Lightning Bolt s might be a bit too much :P The Archangel of Thune is an awesome card, and could work really well, must test it out and see :) I don't know what I would take out, but will try them all and see :)

i may suggest Boros Charm in the main deck. Excellent against board swipes, protecting your main hitter or even giving the final blow.

Leyden says... #19

They were originally main board, but after a lot of testing I found like I would rather just have another piece of removal. It ended up just being used to protect against board wipes, and I never really had to use the other ablities :) If I see a single Wrath of God type ability it gets side boarded in instantly, but as is I think it's better off there :)

Mizzium Mortars is good in standard but in modern it is just a descent card if you want mass opponent removal I would suggest a 2 of Bonfire of the Damned or if you just want to wrath the knew Anger of the Gods the old Pyroclasm will hit most creatures while avoiding your norin and your ascendents. but all in all I would recomend taking the Mizzium Mortars out for 2 Archangel of Thune and a one of Bonfire of the Damned

wwhitegoldd says... #21

I agree with D3fled except take out 1 Mizzium Mortars and 1 mentor of the meek for two archangel of thune.

September 15, 2013 12:38 p.m.

Leyden says... #22

I can give that a shot and see what happens :) I guess Archangel of Thune is just too good to pass up :P Will try them out and hopefully they work out well :)

Another!? Thank yous!! You've really help this deck a lot :D Thank you very much <3

September 15, 2013 12:58 p.m.

I have to second the motion for Boros Charm It's too good not to consider preventing a wrath effect, giving something like Champion double strike or even as a 4dmg spell late game to get that last big of damage in. Such a safe investment for 2 mana in a deck like this that runs off low drops. should easily have the mana open to use in response to no blockers or a wrath
